My cell phone is always on me just in case there is an emergency back home or if DH and I get separated. We always have great reception in Orlando.

Yes, We take ours with us. Not only do we keep in touch with Family(Both my DH and my parents are elderly) and Friends(need to gloat about the weather etc) back home, We use in case we get lost from each other. It's a great way to have a vacation and not feel totally away from all human exsistance.

My vote was to keep track of the peope with us. It is soooo much easier using our cell phones to keep track of companions when we are separated. We tried walkie talkies a few years ago and, frankly, they were no help. We had too much interference.

I took it with me in October unfortunately I didn't have it this time in May because I had the phone shut off. That will be different in October though since I will probably have it back.
