Re: If it says "Disney" on it, are you more likely to purchase?

It depends on what it is. I must admit that you can find something Disney in every room of my house. That said, I won't buy something just because it is Disney. I must want it or need it. For example, this year we needed a new waffle maker and DH seriously thought about getting me a Pooh one so I could have Pooh waffles; however we chose one of the commercial type Belgian waffle makers because it was a better quality for not much more. It would be neat to be able to have Pooh waffles, but I like my waffle maker better. Anyhow, I voted for only if it is cool.

I voted for only if the product is cool. However, I would say that I am more inclined for Disney stuff.

I would have voted for the first one, but I'm not made of money, so I voted for the second option.

Like Dana, the Disney logo will catch my eye, but it has to be something cool and have the "Disney quality" before I will buy it. I don't buy the cheesey stuff just because it has the name Disney on it.

Re: If it says "Disney" on it, are you more likely to purchase?

I'm in a situation that if I don't outwardly attempt to tone it down, we'll drown in Disney paraphernalia.

My kids don't have Disney decorated rooms and I don't display Disney anything around the house, aside from a few small things, like my new little Mickey Ears clock on my desk. They do wear Disney clothing occasionally but even then I try to keep it classy, such as items from Disney Clothiers. Dd does, of course, have all of her princess gear, but to be honest I avoided that for as many years as possible! It wasn't until we were going to CRT that I broke down and bought her a Cinderella dress, largely in part due to the report here on DC that many little girls wear them to CRT.

Dh's office, on the other hand, looks like a Disney Store truck stopped, backed up, and dumped out all the overstocks directly into his office, right down to the super huge stuffed Mickey that occupies a chair all to himself.

I'm the only one in the family that doesn't own a Mickey watch. I got dh a really nice one to wear to work for Christmas. He loooooooves it. LOL

So I voted "probably not."

I'm a sucker, admittedly. If it says Disney, I'm a HECK of a lot more likely to buy it! Just the way I am. They've got my pocketbook wrapped around their little fingers...

I've seen so much Disney junk, I could only go for the second option.
