The closest store to me is about 4 miles, then another at about 6, then another about 10 (I live in a very populated surburban area in NJ 15 miles west of NYC). The Disney store recently opened up an outlet store in an outlet complex in NY state, about 45 miles away. I also visited my local DS after I went to the outlet and noticed that the merchandise and prices were exactly the SAME! So much for receiving any outlet prices. Seems to me to be strickly a marketing gimmic since bought by TCP. I want my old Disney Store back!!!!! PiratesFan

I just don't get it, the Disney stores were always so busy, I cannot believe they were losing money. why would they sell them, they have really lost much of thier magic. thats just my opinion!

For me...it is in between 5 and 20 miles...all I know that it is pretty far away and i rarely get to go check things out...thank God there is at least a catalog that comes out through the mail!!!!!

There is a Disney Store in the mall by me which is about 5-10 mins away. They never really have anything.. I do check it out it when ever we are go...

We had a couple in our state and they all closed. The closest is now in Manhattan.

There are five (I think) in the St. Louis area - I think the closest is about 15 miles. The one at the St. Louis Galleria re-opened (and relocated) about a year ago and is much different from the others, which are the old "classic" looking Disney Stores.

Our closest Disney store is in Foley, AL. Not sure how many miles, but it takes nearly an hour to get there - so I voted 100. No clue if there's any Children's Place things here.

Boy! I'm so spoiled it's not funny! I've a Disney outlet store close enough that I can drive over, shop and drive back to work in an hour.(Dolphin Mall) I have another about 25-30 miles away.(Sawgrass Mills) I have 5 Disney Stores I can think of that are about a 20-30 minute drive.(Dadeland, Aventura, The Falls, Bayside, Pembroke Lakes Mall). Tiggerlover1971 pointed out another I didn't know about which would be about 30-40 minutes away.
