I picked VWL since I couldn't pick two deluxe rooms. We are going with family for the first week of our vacation and we have 2 rooms at WL. I love my in-laws but I also like my own space. The second week we have a 2 bedroom at BCV with friends.

we have gotten 2 rooms at a moderate ..but more often 2 rooms at a value works best

We have been there done that and it was your worst nightmare!
 With our famlies we would stay well away! If fact if our familes ever decided to go to WDW altogether I would advise you all to stay away! Lets just keep WDW as our little secret

Wow, that is a great question. We want to go to DW, and I always bring my cousin and her DD, plus myself and 5 kids. I was wondering where we should stay. When we go to DL we always get a suite at on of the Residence Inns or something similar, however since I am not at all familar with DW area I do not have any idea where to stay.

My family has gone on vacation before together. We all stay at different resorts and we all meet up somewhere. Everyone has their own space. Works good for everyone.

Hey Gina ... I like your idea of staying at different resorts! I tried to talk my family into that before BUT ... ended up just getting several rooms together at the same moderate resort.

I chose the villas at the WL. I need space of my own and would not share a room with 4 people. I like being able to retreat from everyone if I feel the need. A villa would have to be the only way to do it for me. Otherwise, I would go three rooms at a value, so I could have my own to share with my DD. Nothing says aggrevation like family disputes and my family, when is close quarters for a long time period, will have major disputes..lol You can't throw more than one Type A anal, OCD person in the same room and at least three of my immediate family are like that..lol One control freak per room please.

Out of the choices, I definitely had to pick VWL. If I could do "Other" though, I would probably pick 2 Wilderness Cabins at FW. I know it wouldn't as economical, but when I go with a big group that's where I'd really like to stay. I think it would be fun...

I liked the Old Key West idea.
The place appeals to me for some reason, and it always seems to be cheaper to stay there than the other home away from home resorts

Well, since it didn't say that money was an issue, I voted VWL since I absolutely love the WL. I think if it were my family though, I like the everyone staying at different resort...my family wouldn't pay to stay at WL!!
