Probably not. We go every two years. If there is something going on, it is an added bonus. In 2002, we enjoyed the 100 Years of Magic. In 2004, there was no celebration. Now for our 2005/2006 trip we have the Happiest Celebration on Earth.

We love the special events. Now that the kids are grown, it's not that we need "special" events, but they do give an added reason. By "Special" I mean Epcot Food and Wine, Very Merry Christmas Party and the like.
I'd like to see Disney do something in spring. Epcot has the FLower and Garden, but I'd like to see some "food" event mixed in with it.

We go all the time now... that we live in FL, but when we still lived in Memphis TN.... it made a big differance to us.... We went to I think it was the 15 year celebration they had and a man broke in line in front of us and won the car that day...go figure... it would have been my son had he not broke line.... oh well the story of my life...LOL.... but we do tend to go for the celebrations... but we would go in any case...but I voted for the celebrations....

I voted maybe, because I'd REALLY like to see the castle decorated for the Happiest Celebration.

ABSOLUTELY! I would have normally only went for one vacation to WDW in the year but when the 50th is said and done I will have gone to WDW twice for a week each AND Disneyland for 4 days..
I had NO PLANS on going back to DL anytime soon but after seeing all the wonerful things at WDW for the 50th I decided it's a must! The 50th TOTALLY effected my Disney obsession, haha

Hey Tinkerbell, I sure hope you get well quick, so that you can take another trip to WDW. I think DH and I are going to try to make one more before Christmas.... so that I can see the Christmas lights...

I think they are very cool, and I love seeing the way they go the extra mile with the celebrations, but I'd be going to WDW anyway, so it's not necessary. I think the 100 years was my favorite so far...

I feel the same way. I don't plan my trips around the celebrations, but I love the celebrations. I think my fave so far was the 25th in 1996-97

Re: Do the special events like "Happiest Celebration on Earth" bring you to Disney?

We cannot go as often as I'd like so, to me it doesn't matter what's going on, just as long as I get to go. Also, November is the only month for us to go. That's alright all of the birthdays and anniversaries are in that month, so we make our own special occassion.

We just go when we can afford to go, not just when special things are going on.
