My first thought was to opt for free annual passes but considering it a bit more carefully I think the interest free loan would be much more financially viable.

Of course a more favourable cost for DVC in the first place would be best of all.

Had to vote for nothing would sucker us in. We have 2 time shares already, that we can not sell. My vacation time is hard to come by, and the annual maint. fees are a killer.

Since there is already a savings for DVC owners on tickets I voted for no interest loan.

Hey Dznygrl,

We joined to help us afford the rooms. With 5 teenagers, we need the space. Being able to make monthly payments is way cool. Now the free passes would probably convince me to quit my job and move closer.

Join up, you'll figure a way to carve out the monthly payment - AND - they are a tax write off.

Actually, I don't need incentives. If I have the money, I buy. When I have the money again, I'll buy more. But I'd have the money faster (per se) if I didn't have to pay add'l funds in interest so that's what I voted for.

I'm gonna buy the annual passes anyway! LOL

I just figured that I'd rather have the APs since the interest you pay would be deductible come tax time. At least I'm getting something back for it...

Check out this site... http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/guest/guestHome Don't know if they post all the incentives, but I think they do some. Also, you might want to contact a rep. I think our guy's name was Mark Webb & he was absolutely NO PRESSURE! Just let him know that incentives might make a difference as to whether you buy or not & I'm sure he'll let you know when something comes up.
