5 years worth of APs would do it for me!

Can I vote for more than one? I voted for the free annual passes but would love the cruise. We actually bought into the DVC in July without any incentives - when has Disney given incentives?

We bought in March of 2002 & got the 11 free nights at a Deluxe Resort incentive. At that point it was either like $5/point off or the free nights. We did the math & it was actually more to get the free nights.

I couldn't choose any of these options because none of them would entice me enough. However, I would, definitely, purchase if they offered the dining plan to members at a reduced rate.

Free anaual pass for five years. I was talking to a OKW DVC member and they had given out AP's in the past. Free Disney Cruise is also a good idea. Thats one thing I haven't tried yet and want to do it while the kids are still young.

Re: What incentive might entice you to buy into Disney Vacation Club?

I voted for annual passes for 5 years. However, after looking over the choices again, I think I would change my vote to pre-reserved dates each year. It would be nice to have that "family vacation" the same time each year and have it to look forward each year, the same dates. That would be nice.

I hear what you are saying but as a DVC member the flexibility to travel whenever you want just beats the pants off predetermined vacation weeks!

Yeah, I suppose I may just be worried that I couldn't get a reservation when I wanted/need to. Maybe it is a lot easier than I suspect...?

If you are the plan ahead type person, it is not that hard. Last minutes guys would drown in the details.

Re: What incentive might entice you to buy into Disney Vacation Club?

I'm already a DVC member, but I would love annual passes free for 5 years. However, I do have to say that the new perk for DVC members of 100 dollars of regular annual passes was enough for me to buy one for me and one for lil brer. We got ours for our May trip, and its great because now we will not need to get tickets when we go back for our DVC trip with the parents in Dec. Plus now we get double the perks - DVC and AP!!!! Life is good - at least in Disney.

By the way, MIckey got me last minute reservations at WL on DVC points for one night (Memorial Day as a matter of fact) one week before we were supposed to leave for Disney. It required a change in our entire reservation and a partial refund for the original reservation. Mickey was great at handling this and the people at DVC at WL and POFQ were terrific as well.

I voted for Free Annual Passes for 5 years! (would that be passes for the whole fam??? If so, definitely!)

But NO INTEREST LOAN came a close second, followed by a 7 night Disney Cruise...
