What incentive might entice you to buy into Disney Vacation Club?

Disney offers different incentives from time to time to get guests to buy into DVC. Which one would get you to buy a membership (or more points if you are already a member)?

Free Annual passes would draw me to join DVC. It would be a great savings for our family.

We are already members so I might be biased in voting. However, free annual passes would be great.

We're also already members - but after taking two cruises with Disney, I'd go with getting a free cruise (it would have to be the 7 day one).

Re: What incentive might entice you to buy into Disney Vacation Club?

Having been a Vacation Club member since 1992 I can tell you that free passes are great. We got free passes as an incentive until 2000. I had them for 8 years.
I can also tell you that I spoke to several Vacation Club staff, and they told me that the Free Passes program almost bankrupt the company. I doubt that you will ever see that again.

Re: What incentive might entice you to buy into Disney Vacation Club?

I voted for the APs. But when we bought, we got a certain number of free nights at a deluxe resort based on the number of points you bought. Since we bought 270 points, we got 11 free nights so we took another very nice vacation 6 months later & stayed at the BWI! That was a real nice incentive!

I'm afraid that DVC is too rich for our blood.

Re: What incentive might entice you to buy into Disney Vacation Club?

Well i think that the free passes would be a great thing but the only chance of us getting the DVC is if we were to win the lottery. So the chances are slim

Re: What incentive might entice you to buy into Disney Vacation Club?

While it wouldn't take much incentive for us to join DVC...once we can afford it that is...I had to vote for the annual passes.

Even that free cruise was really tempting...but the APs would save us so much more $$ down the line!
