Will you apply for the new Disney Visa card?

Now that Disney has started accepting applications for the new Disney Visa Card, will you apply?

I wanted to strongly vote "Show me the money" but I was responsible and voted "Yes" like I'm suppose to do.

I received the email, and went to apply for my Disney VISA card, but alas, I am stuck north of the 49th parallel, and am not eligible to apply, at this point anyways. I was rather ticked off for a bit, but have managed to survive.

Confused?

I'm so confused!

I thought the cards weren't available until March 4. Or is that a different card than is being discussed here?

Now that VISA is the accepted card over AE, that means I have to get another card from somewhere since all I have is AE and MC.

:(

Yep, same card. Guess they were just ready earlier than they thought they would be. And since it's a rewards card it will be worth your while to get one, from my point of view anyway! I applied this morning & can't wait to be able to start using it!

OK, so I found the application on the Disney Club section. I filled out the proper places and submitted it. THEN, to get the special stamp, I now have to wait for my card to come in, call the bank and give them "the code" and they will reissue my card with the Day 1 stamp on it. It seems a little "stretched out" to me.

When I applied thru the DVC site I put my code in right there on the screen. It didn't say anything about doing all that! It just said I should get something in 30 days. Maybe I didn't read all the fine print....?

I did on the disney.go.com site. Filled out the application and it says if you apply before a certain date in March (the 24th I believe) your card will have the "Member since day 1 stamp". It have a line that said if you order over teh phone you have to use a special code if you call in.

So you don't need a code to apply online? I know I"m confused:dazed , been running around doing math and reading homework with my son, cooking dinner and making lunches for tomorrow...so that doesn't leave much brian power to figure out important things like this...haha :D

Done did it. Goofygal, if you apply online, you don't need a special code. I posted this elsewhere, but it can't hurt to put it here, too. Go to www.disney.com, then go to the Entertainment directory, and click on Disney Credit Card. It'll take you directly to the application page. Good luck, and have fun. Looks like there'll be a whole slew of DC members with Day 1 on their cards!:heart :)
