Which deluxe resort is your favorite?

Which deluxe resort is your favorite and why? It doesn't have to be one that you have stayed at personally. Just the one that appeals to you the most and the reasons why.

You all know the AKL is my fav. I like the theme, remoteness of the location and the transportation. The food options and service are also top notch and I think the price is more than fair for deluxe accomidations.

I voted for Contemporary because I've actually stayed there. To me it's just a symbol of having been there practically since the beginning. I love the shape, the restaurants, the monorail and the view to MK.

Now, if I had to vote for a place where I'd like to eventually stay that would have been GF.

Has to be the AKL, it's amazing how you can be in Disney but feel like your in Africa!

It's a close race between Beack Club and Wilderness Lodge but BC has a better pool and location so I think that gives it a slight edge.

Tough choice between the Poly and WL due to theming. But Poly won out as it is on the Monorail.

The Contemporary was the first Disney property I ever stayed in when I was a kid, and it's big sentimental favorite. I thought it was a cool-looking place, and the monorail went right through it! So Jetsons!

I still enjoy it.

I'd love to try the GF, though. It's always fun going over for a seating at Vicky & Al's.

This was a tough one...

I voted for the Polynesian b/c I love the theming and I think it's a really comfortable resort, watching the fireworks from the beach is the best and I love the convenience of a monorail resort

The Contemporary was a close second due to the new rooms - they are awesome, but I don't really like the "concrete feel" of the resort itself

I love the GF as well, but I always seem to feel a little underdressed and out of place when I am there

Really like the Wilderness Lodge too - especially the lobby

Like the location of the Beach Club and especially like the pool, but feel the rooms need to be rehabbed

Never stayed at AKL, BW or YC

I voted for AKL as well. Love the theming, the uniqueness, the animals, the food - you name it.

Now, after our quick one-nighter to GF this summer, I may change my mind...

I love WL but I really like being able to walk from the contemporary to the Magic Kingdom. I will be staying at the BC/YC in June so I might have a different opinion after that....

I absolutely love the AKL, but I think WL is my favorite, because it was the first resort we ever stayed at, and our trip was so wonderful!
