The person with the most votes will get 4 points, second place will get 3 points, third will get 2 points, and for posting a solution you will get 1 point. At the end of 9 tasks the top 3 points winner will be challenge to a grand task. This task will be a little harder then the other so the task will be opened for a total of 7 days. Instead of posting these solution they will be emailed to me (tigger) to be posted all at once in the final poll. The winner will be the person that gets the most votes in the grand poll and will be crowned the DC Apprentace until the next game.
The first task will be posted next Thursday at 6ish est. in the mean time here is an example task to warm up on:

Come up with a new park snack to promote the opening of Everest. It should help carry the theme of the Everest attraction.

I am helping run it this year so if you have a question PM me or go ahead and post it. Tigger is out of town for a few days, so I am holding down the fort.

Later, I will be posting an example response to help everyone get an idea of what we are looking for, and to get your minds thinking how to solve Disney problems.

OK here it goes!!!: In order to go on with the "Expedition" them we need trail mix!!!! If the task was a little more detailed or lengthy (which remember they get harder as they go on, so they will require more details) you will need more words!!!

So what are some of your ideas!!!???

Snow cones, of course. Or how about those little round cupcakes rolled in vanilla frosting and coconut, we call them snoballs here in PA.

Re: The Return of Disney Central Apprentice

Frozen Yetti Icecream sandwich. This would be an ice cream sandwiches in the shape of a yetti. The sandwich would be dipped in a white chocolate shell. The wrappers could have different images of Everest scenes with or without the yetti. Short text about the history of Everest, and mythology of the yetti (maybe a 2 or 3 dozen messages of a sentence or more).

signage would be added to ice-cream carts that would look like travel or expedition brochure. They ice-cream sandwich would be available at all park ice-cream carts.

How about Hillary Tensing's top of the world ice cream sundae challenge. A HUUUUUUUUGE chocolate ice cream sundae on a bed of jam sponge cake topped off with thick whipped cream and grated coconut. Named after the first conquerors of the fabled mountain, it would be a belly-busting challenge not for faint hearts or small stomachs. No guts - no glory. Anyone able to present a clean plate would win a fastpass for the Everest ride!

Re: The Return of Disney Central Apprentice

Does this have to be a restaurant? Can it be an attraction?

Question concerning Task 1:

There is already an attraction at the AE but no restaurant. Think of the your restaurant as an attraction.

(remember to post your solution in the DCA task 1 thread and that you get 1 point just of posting a solution...)

Thanks for your question and happy imagineering!
