The Hook is a great idea. How about a twisting steel coaster, painted purple. We'll call it "Ursala's Revenge."

We, always, have a vegetable garden. After, he retired, we didn't want to be tied down to tending the animals. So, we got rid of all our animals. We kept our dog who passed away from old age a couple of years ago. It broke my heart.

Ok, on to happier Disney thoughts. What about a farm, friendly petting zoo somewhere in the AK for city folk who don't have the chance to see farm critters up close & personal.

Remy, my family is right there with yours. We would totally be for a Villan themed thrill ride park. Disney needs to add a park that is catered to the adults and older teens. (IMHO).

if I was doing a park I think it would be a medieval theme. It wouldn't be a Harry Potter as that's been done but in that line of thought

Re: if you were an imagineer what park would you make next at WDW

I love the Harry Potter Idea at Universal but I am a little anti universal! Disney is so close to my heart and I hate the thought of going there because not many people are very "disneylike."

We will most likely go there next year because of the new Harry Potter attractions but to leave Disney for a day will break my heart.

SOOOOO...hopefully Disney will come up with a greater and bigger idea then even Harry Potter for the years to come.

Again, I am for the villan park for the teens.

I'd restore Pleasure Island to its former glory, updated for the 21st century of course, keeping Adventurers' Club and Comedy Warehouse, and bringing back some of the things that got lost years ago (the Neon Armadillo, the liqueur truffles at D'Zertz, the much bigger and more elaborate nightly New Year's Countdown, etc.) -- rather than getting rid of it all. But definitely the adult nightclub area of some kind.

Awww Erin, we have goats. Just come by anytime... Every once in a while we will let them out to graze on our grass and we have this brown goat that will literally follow you around and stare @ you. Picture this, you walk onto the back porch and look up and there is this goat, with its head peeking around the corner of the house staring @ you. My son says the goat has issues. I think its hilarious.

Now back to the theme park, I would like to see one that keeps the classics alive.

I would gut Great Movie Ride and redo a lot of those scenes. I like some of the movies they have like Mary Poppins and Wizard of Oz, but the audio animatronics are just awful. I heard a rumor they wanted to add the Lord of the Rings stuff, so I would love that! But if you change one thing and add better technology, you would have to redo the whole thing. The animatronics are SO outdated that anything new up against them would just make it look worse.

A Lord of the Rings area would be AWESOME! And I think that it would give the HArry Potter's over at Universal a HUDGE run for their money. Scenes from that movie, recreated by Disney Imagineers would be truly magical.

I like the thrill ride idea too and the villian idea is great too. I am thinking it is not big enoough for a huge park. But, if you had an over all theme of the seven wonders of the world you could have the ancient wonders, the new wonders, and work in a fantasy type section for Hook, etc... It could follow the hub and spoke pattern with Egypt, Asia Minor, North America, South America and Australia. You could have grand canyon, Incan/mayan, pyramids, the outback, mount rushmore, Taj Mahal, etc... and work in villians from old and new, thrill rides galore and great dining.

If I was an Imagineer, I'd build the Beastly Park that was originally planned for AK. I would change the Studios back to MGM, and I wouldn't let any new crap they've been making lately into my beloved parks.

All these ideas sound great. I like the Villians and the retired rides, etc.
DS has been trying to come up with an idea for Stitch, instead of what they have now. He wants a roller coaster, after Hawaiian Coaster Ride. Where your kind of on a surfboard or that it feels like you are? He'll figure it out. He's hoping to be an imagineer some day.

Re: if you were an imagineer what park would you make next at WDW

what if you took the Mid-evil Idea but mixed it with all the great Knight Movies, you know, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, The Black Cauldron and just built it around that?

but I do like the Villains idea! me and Elizabeth's FAVORITE store was Villains and vogue in Studios!
