How do you display DISNEY pins?

We have many pins floating all around the house. Some on lanyards, some in drawers etc. We are looking for a way to organize the pins. My idea is to get one of those pin collector bags where there's pages and you tac the pins to the page. I cannot find them on disneydirect.com. I found 2 for sale on ebay however before bidding on those, I would like to price them thru Disney. Does anyone know the cost if you buy them at WDW? Also, what is the phone # to call WDW for merchandise? Thanks so much!!

Re: How do you display DISNEY pins?

My experience is only with 'Odyssee of the Mind' pins. We display ours in shadow boxes. Others display them on pieces of fabric/novelty towels that were specially created for that purpose.
Long story short, they hang on the wall of my kids rooms.

Re: How do you display DISNEY pins?

My DW bought a shadow box from Target I think...anyway we have all our pins in there displayed on a bookcase shelve.

(the box is brush steel with a black back that the pin are stuck to and a glass front.)

That sounds nice! I need to add some life to my bookshelves - maybe I'll try that!

Re: How do you display DISNEY pins?

DH and I both have the pin bags...ours feature Stitch as a bellhop for the Tower of Terror. SO CUTE! We are selling one on Ebay right now, but unless you want 90+ pins WITH it...

I think we originally paid around $30 for our bags, but that was with a 20% CM discount. I'm guessing the bags were originally between $38-$40. They are VERY nice, and I can't think of a better way to keep the pins safe and sound. It's also nice because they have extra zippered pockets for accessories, lanyards, etc.

We took our Pin from our trip last year and I made a Velvet Frame.

1. Figure out what size area you want. (Depends on how many Pins you have.)
2. Buy a Frame from a Craft Store or Wal-Mart to match the size you want.
3. Get some Cardboard from an Box. (Can ask Wal-Mart if they have an old cardboard box you can have)
4. Cut Cardboard to the same size as the Glass that comes with the frame.
5. Go to local Fabric store or Wal-mart and buy some Black Velvet by the yard.
6. Take the Velvet and wrap around the cardboard. You can use Straight Pins or Staples or Glue to secure.
7. Discard the Glass and replace with Velvet cardboard in frame.
8. Arrange Pin on the velvet cardboard.
9. Hang on the wall along side the pictures from your trip.
10. Enjoy the memories, every time you walk by.

Note: you may need to double the cardboard.

P.S. I do not work for Wal-Mart. Just shop there because they have cheap prices.

My user ID is retherfordgifts

DH decided to sacrifice the majority of his pin collection to help pay for our anniversary trip. I did the same recently--sold most of mine, but if I was smart like DH I probably would have sold them in a lot!

Re: How do you display DISNEY pins?

Mine are on ribbons hanging from a dowel rod. Really easy to make. It hangs on the wall. I can easily take any off that I may want to wear to WDW on a lanyard.

Re: How do you display DISNEY pins?

wow great thread!! I'm slowly taking over my entire dorm with Disney stuff. My roommate has seemed not to notice, or else she knows that she can't stop my obsession. I didn't even think of putting up my pins!
Tigger, do you know how much the shadowbox was?

Do you buy them framed in sets or do you make up sets yourself and then have them professionally framed?
