birthday Pin At WDW?

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but can anyone help me out and explain the birthday pin thing at WDW? I read on another post that if you go to city hall at WDW, you can get a birthday pin! I have a few questions:

1.) Where is city hall at WDW?
2.) Does it have to be your birthday on the day you request a pin?
3.) How much do the pins cost, and what do they look like?
4.) Are they similar pins like pin trading pins, or are they those round badges?

Thanks! Any help would be greatly appreciated! We are travelling to WDW on June 30th (my birthday!), and my wife and twin boys celebrate birthdays just before our trip!

As you enter through the main gate and through the tunnel at MK, the city hall is on your far left. They are round badges that say today is my birthday. They are free. You can also get one at AK, Epcot, and MGM,too at their guest services near the main entrance to each park. You don't have to prove it is your birthday to request one.

You can also get one at DTD. Just go to guest services there. We are doing all the good birthday stuff for this trip as it is my birthday gift to lil brer.

I got two on my trip. One at MK and then one at MGM, we thought they might be different at each park....they aren't. We picked them up at the Guest Relations booths.

the ones at AK are different.Also, when you are dining be sure to tell them it is your birthday, you usually get a free dessert or cupcake and sometimes they sing.

When we did this last Nov. the Studios didn't have their own pin, like all the other parks, they used the MK pins. You get them at any "guest services" office at any Park.

They also give out anniversary pins, as we found out last week. :)

BTW, these aren't trading pins. They're actually big buttons.

They do have a WDW Birthday pin for sale.
