I use a large corkboard. It makes me happy to see my pins everyday. I also wear a few on a lanyard while I am at work(I work for Wal-Mart). I change them out depending on the season or what is happening with Disney. Right now I have Lady and the Tramp pins on my work lanyard for the release of the DVD.

This is so neat! My dad passed away a few years ago and we came across his hat pin collection, and you guessed it, several pins from our many disney trips during our youth. Some of hotels no longer, names changed, etc. I need to go through and make a list. . .

Apparently Disney was not as it is now and they didnt have them, which I don't believe, but oh well.

I'm going to trade for ones I like, put them on my Tink bag, and put my extras (that will be in a ziplock), onto my lanyard to trade.

I have a room for crafting and Disney. So what I did was buy a large embrodiery ring and 2 small, then I got some think black fabric and stretched it around the rings. Hung on wall as my own Mickey. I will try to post the photo when I get home from work.

That is a neat idea! What about colored foam board? I don't know if this will work or not, but what about poster board in a picture frame. The pins could keep their backs on that way. I don't know if it will cose up behind it very well, but it was a thought.

Aw, I knew this had to be an old thread. I thought, "Princess Tessa posted?!?!?!"

But no...it was not to be.

Anyway, DH and I usually use the nice pin bags from Disney. Right now we don't have any though...some lady offered us $75 apiece, (plus shipping!) back when I was selling pins on eBay. We haven't bought new ones since. Mine are currently in the plastic pages made for slides...can you tell I have a photographer for a father?

Corkboards are fine, but I use them mainly for storage, lol. I keep them until I get enough of a certain series or movie vein and then I find a picture frame (if I can) in some used store of some sort, and then take it apart. I only get the deep ones, most with screw 'L' holders on the back and then I take the picture out, and it possible leave the border, but I try to find an appropriate Disney pic to put over the cardboard and then use this as a backboard and put my pins on it, trying to have sort of style, but failing often, lol. I'm not bad at it now, but I have waaaay too many frames on my walls here. All sorts and sizes, from 4" x 8" to 24" by 36". Have to be careful about the bigger ones, as it you add too many pins, they can get too heavy for hanging, lol. Still, it keeps them out of the way and I have fun doing it, and redoing it from time to time. Something to keep me busy on slow days around here.

We jsut get new lanyards... so they are sort of chronological and remind us of our trips...

Getting new lanyards is a nice way to do it... I guess we have been doing that without knowing it on our last two trips!

And the lanyards are not expensive at all, so it is cool for the kids to get them at DL, because our pins are mostly from Ebay.
