Did I just get a good pin deal on eBay?

I wanted to get some trader pins for "Girl Trip" 'cause even though I've never really been into pin trading I always end up seeing cast members with some cool Tinkerbell or Aurora pins that I like but never have any to trade.

Anyway, I went on eBay and I ended up getting 20 pins for $36.80, making them $1.84 each. Shipping is $5.00. Did I get a good deal...

I will attach a picture of them, there is only one in the batch I'd probably keep and that's the pineapple one with hidden Mickeys 'cause I am just crazy for pineapples.

I don't know much about pins and trading, but it looks like you'll have a few to start with. Hope these work well for you to trade on the coveted Aurora and Tinkerbelle pins.

They look like nice pins. Bottom line is that you have 19 pins to trade for $42.That is a great deal. Have fun trading!

Hmm...not being much into the trading aspect, I collect..I don't trade(heehee)....I don't really have much to add except that I like the pineapple one too!

See, that's me too! I collect but never trade. When you are in the parks sometimes don't you get aggitated when you see a cool one on a lanyard and don't have anything to trade?

This is what I do about a month before every trip . . . I buy them on ebay!! So the girls can trade away . .. YES, I never pay more then $2.15 . . . that's my bottom line, so I think you did REALLY WELL!!

Also, if you have a Disney Store near you . . . Once a month they have a pin trading night, and at the end of the night for $10/bag you can get a grab bag of pins. These are always great to get, cuz they are ones you won't mind trading!!

8-10 depending on the size of the pin!

There are a lot of die hard collectors go to mine . . . but you don't have to trade . . . the CM in the store wear the lanyards and they have a pin board to trade from.

When we were at POR in July, they had pin trading in the lobby every night between 5-6pm . . . so you are def going to want to have some to trade . . . and to find all those cast member hidden mickey pins!! My DD3 & DD7 can spot them a mile away!!

Thanks for tellin' me that, maybe I will just tuck those away in my pin book for future sale or something. See, I know nothing about pin values, trading, etc. My mantra is "Oooo LOOK, cute Tinkerbell. I wanna trade."

I remember some kid last year saw me trading one of these cast member ones and he freaked out, he said "YOUR GONNA TRADE THAT?"

I have noooo clue.

Well the beauty of pin trading is there are no written rules . . . you make your own collection that makes YOU happy!
