Does anyone have an ebay seller thay use to get traders for the parks? I would like to get my son a bunch of traders for our 2 trips this summer but I don't know where to start on ebay (I don't ebay so it scares me ). I don't want to get taken but at the same time I don't want to spend $7 a pin for something we see as 'just for fun' when we're in the parks.

Any sells out there you can point me toward?

Right now she doesn't have any listed this way, so you can contact her or just watch . . . she sometimes has 50 with a make an offer button . . . I did 1.90/pin with her and she accepted . . . there were GREAT Pins in the bunch!

If you have a Disney Store by you, call them . . . they have pin trading night and sell $10 bags of pins . . . you get 5. They are dupes . . . but then you WANT to trade them not keep them!!

I'll keep watching her for you and let you know when she posts a make an offer!

Just so you know this is how I always get our traders . .. i start at the top and work my way down . . . I multiple the number of pins x 2 minus the shipping . . . put that as my highest bid and walk away . . . I HATE to pay more then $2/pin for traders!

I was able to get some from the disney store at my local mall. They had 3 ratotouile (sp) pins in a christmas ball ornament and was on clearance for 4.00 and I think it was an extra %50 off so I got 3 pins for $2.00. I got 6 balls all together. Try there!

I have bought pins from these two sellers EVERY single time I go to WDW. They've always had SUPER FASt shipping, perfect pins, good prices, & very friendly. I keep them both in my "favorite sellers" list b/c I really do respect the business I've done with them in the past:

We always try to get cheap hidden mickey/cast member pins and can often find them in large batches on eBay -- and the CMs we trade with are always so grateful that we have decent stuff to trade them instead of "junk pins."

I just picked up 50 from this person and there were some real keepers that I have been after in the lot. Very happy with them. Best of all I got all 50 for $5.00 because of a gift cert from E-bay for a screw up on their part in December.

I had some pins in my lot from this one turned out to be counterfeit. Very disappointing and embarrassing. I do not think it was intentional on her part but it just shows you have to be careful.

That's the part that worries me. I don't what to get taken but I understand that's part of the risk with ebay.

What irritates me is I still left positive feedback explaining the situation along with it and she had the nerve to leave me negative. I almost filed a complaint with Safe Harbor and Paypal but I guess I am too nice. Look for sellers with 100% feedback. There are some out there.

See, I USE those as traders! I think everyone finds value in different pins ya know? Some people ONLY collect the hidden mickey's, etc. I only collect Tinkerbell & ANY limited editions that strike my fancy. Every once in awhile I see a hidden mickey that's just so cool I have to keep it.

Disneyteacher, if you are worried about an auction that might have possible counterfits you should PM one or two of us before you buy it so we can take a look. I got pretty good at spotting which ones are NOT Disney made. Also, I've made a habit of NOT buying auctions that just show you a whole MESS of pins in a photo & say "Buy it Now, 20 for $19.99" or whatever. It's easier for counterfeits to creep into the lot then. I ONLY buy lots that show EXACTLY what pins you are getting. That's why I always loved that Travelinwynns person. I don't mind helping you I'll tell you my ebay userid so you know I won't swoop in on your auction.
