Pin Events????

I have never bee nto the pin events at WDW before and my DH and I are discussing going to the July event at the MK.

My questions are...

What is a RSP?

Has any one ever done one of these before? If so, is it worth the money?

Should I find a sitter for my DD for the day (age 3)?

Any info would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!!!
Amy

I've never done a pin event but have always wanted to. I think it would be a lot of fun -- if nothing other than to see what it's all about.

According to the Dizpins Web site, an RSP Form or Random Selection Process Form is the method used to randomly pick the pins of your choice by preference during a pin event. Usually you fill in your selection of pins based on the order of preference and a computer then randomly selects the pins you will be allowed to purchase.

I'm not exactly sure what all that means, but at least you now know what RSP stands for.

Thanks for your help and the website address. I checked it out and (after many discussions) DH and I are going to the event in Animl Kingdom.

I can't wait to go and will share my experiences there on the boards when I get back.

Thanks again!!!
Amy

Which event is that? Maybe I'll have to check it out, too.

On June 12th, there is an event called Pingala at Animal Kingdom.

It will take place after park closing and includes dinner. Check it out on www.officialdisneypintrading.com. It is expensive ($125 per person) but from what I understand, it is supposed to be well worth the money.

Let me know if you decide to go, I would love to meet someone from the boards (put a face to a name!!!)!!!

Take care,
Amy
