Did you guys notice that we have the most messages out of any social group by a HUGE margin?!?! I guess it's that whole southern hospitality thing. I went to New Jersey once with my cousins (who are from there) and I walked by someone in the grocery store and said "hey" (totally normal right?!?!...Not so much) And they were blown away because they thought I knew them.

Yeah, we had tornado warning during last period, today. We were in band, so we sat in the practice rooms (so glad we have the new band facilities!), and it didn't affect us much, but it was awful for the kids who had to sit with their heads down against the wall and books over their heads for an hour in the rest of the school. Dismissal was delayed, and all afternoon activities were cancelled. Apparently it hit part of the Clemson University campus.... I'm unsure where, but my friend at Clemson was telling me about it. They were in lockdown in the basements.

And KittieKChick.... my boyfriend lives in Charlotte! (Actually, Lake Wylie)

How are all my upstaters? This weather is crazy--in school today we had to leave class and hang out in the locker rooms because the tornado sirens were going off throughout town. I heard them mention Honea Path and Anderson on the radio so I was thinking of Willbegone and LMM

Have you tried the milkshakes from the place on the circle (that is what they called it no idea if everyone else calls it that) .. i hope you know what i am talking about ... they had the best cookies and cream shake .. if it's still there .. i can't remember what it was called for the life of me

Yup it's the SAME guy! But the Beacon is in downtown Spartanburg not Boiling Springs. It's Spartanburg's only claim to fame don't take it away from us!

He IS the same guy. He has been there since my parents were young (they are in thier late 50's now). Its amazing! He remembers them too (he is almost all the way blind now).

lol .. yes the memories .. my best friend went to wofford .. I had a few trips to the beacon . i would swear that is the same guy that was there when i was in college (and that was a while ago)
