    Did anyone get the Beyond Calories thing? I also wanted to add how I don't think the model is attractive. It really bugs me!

    Question...is the idiots thing a one time payment, or is it a subscription? I'm really anxious to start now, but I'm going to stop when my parents are here. I really want to check it out. If its a one time thing, there's no point in waiting.

    Thanks Val, he should be fine, as long as he listens and does what the doctors tell him to do.

    I am so thrilled that you've lost 6 pounds, doesn't it feel fantastic?

    You should also get a lot of excercise when you pack for that trip in less than 9 days Just keep the suitcases on the floor and bend down to place each item in it

    The best deli meats I can get here in the boonies is Kretchmar and something called "natural off the bone" stuff. It's good, but a little variety would be so very nice.

    Hi everyone... since doing my own diet thing... Ive lost 6 pounds!!!!!!!!!! :-D
    Iam soo thrilled... I got past the crankiness. that only lasted a day or 2. It's been easier!!! I have not touched chocolate in about a week!!! YEAH!!!!!!!! HUGE DEAL for me!!!! They had pies at work for my boss's b-day, and I took the TINIEST smidge of each (1 key lime, 1 pumpkin cream) and was SATISFIED!!!! That is HUGE DEAL for me!!! Iam a junk food junkie and have a sweet tooth!!!! I now stick a twizzler in my mouth when I have a craving... they are low in calories and fat free!!! I am not snacking (healthy or whatever) between meals and Iam not snacking at nite no more!!!! I think it's helping me!!! On the weekend I had a mini cupcake my DD gave me... no biggie... and I had some hot chocolate too! Iam soo happy to see some results!!! I hope it keeps coming off!!! 1 week to go for Disney!!! yeah!!! I now feel "included" here on this thread!

    Iris- I work in a place that does MRI's, I feel for your son... I also had knee surgery June 06, I have bad knees.. I hope he feels better soon!!!

    Have you all tried boar's head? That's what we use when we want deli meats...low salt and yucky stuff.

    Yay! That'd be so awesome! But then I'll need new clothes! I'm already in my "skinny but still 20 pounds overweight" clothes.

    That's very, very good MissDis. Like I said below, instead of deli meats, you can slice a chicken breast, a steak, a corned beef brisket and it is healthier than those salt laden deli meats.

    I like the way this diet works because it is the kind of grazing one does at a buffet. I also like not snacking. The time between meals is completely void of foods except for water, tea or coffee (in my case more tea)
    I don't miss constantly looking for something to stick in my mouth.

    I have been able to stick my shirt inside now without the dreaded muffin top appearing. I hate the muffin top. I am totally slimming in the waiste and my tripple chin has completely disappeared. My rings all need to be made smaller, I can now wear my favorite Judith Leiber belt again. But! I am far away from my former self. I pulled out a leather skirt I am holding on to and I have to say, neither my butt nor waiste will fit in there for a long time - if ever again. But that's ok. I am looking good and getting better

    nanu, you have lots of time to take those pounds off - if you stick to the diet like I did during the first few rounds of 11 days, you'll loose 9-10 pounds during the first round for sure

    Oh, and I use slices of grilled steak instead of roast beef slices because I think it is healthier off my own barbecue than out of the deli. And I am making my own "pastrami" as well, using a corned beef brisket with cracked papper. The I make my slices from that. I am not really a big deli gal.

    OK, I am only jus tnow, after two false starts and a big break in between, getting the hang of this. Two things that have made it easier for me are: choose a lot of items, and focus on choosing ones that have a lot of options (like spicing up your chicken one day with cumin and cayenne, the next time with wasabi and a drop of soy sauce... And second, the make sure you have the banana milkshake, the orange pineapple smoothie and the yogurt dessert on the list. Those can get me through a day very happily, especially if I use them the third or fourth meal.

    Remember when I said I wanted to wear jeans with a shirt tucked in? I haven't tucked the shirt in yet, but I wore Levi's the other day for the first time in years, and it was great!
