POO, never made it down there since my bro had to work that weekend. Will go soon and try out Parrains. DD's luv that Italian buffet by Sam's. Sicilian maybe.
DD asked the other day when we're going back to NO. Haven't been to Nawlins' since summer pre Kat. Hmmm, have to check our hockey schedule on that one, Thanksgiving or Christmas break does sound good:-)

Blue Bayou is like 5 minutes from my house...how funny! Yes, Boutins is still open but I personally think Parrains is better. Parrains is located on Perkins and Acadian, right off the interstate, which is also on the way to Blue Bayou. Here is the website, check it out http://www.parrains.com/

Actually DH is a bigger ND fan than I. That comes from growing up around there. I'm born/bread southern. F'ball is ok...Hockey's better, lol.
Plan to make a end of summer trip to Blue Bayou before school starts and wanted to stop by Boutin's. Do you know if it's still open?

Abbeville...thats south of Lafayette, right? I am from Baton Rouge! I know a lot of people who are Notre Dame fans, hope their team does well this season. I like Mickeybug...very creative!

Oh yum...love the mudbug pic. Looks like my brothers wedding reception last May in Abbyville. We have a Mudbug fest every year at the end of May. I usually spend the weekend pouring beer at it. We also have a hockey team called the Mudbugs that i'm an avid fan of, hence my log on...Mickeybug! I heard they just started an arena football team down south by that same name/logo. Don't even get me started there. As for college ball, sorry...Go Irish!!!
