Okay- one specific question. The castle is smaller... are we talking smaller in the way that Sleeping Beauty castle at DL is smaller... or smaller than that?

Hi, sorry for the delay. I just got back from traveling yesterday.

I haven't been to Disneyland in CA so I can't compare. The castle at DL HK has basically nothing in it (no shops, restaurant, etc.). It is simply a 3D facade. I would estimate total height to be no more than 30 to 40 ft.

In terms of cost, it cost $300 HKD to get in for 1 day which is about $45 USD. An annual pass is only $650 HKD or about $90 USD. Then again, there is only
one park to attend.

you said that the park did not have some the same rides would that include Pirates and The Haunted Mansion at all? those are my favorite attractions and I would hope that HK would include them.
I am actually planning on moving to Japan in a few years so I hope to make regular trips to HKDL and TDLR. If the season passes to HK are really only $90 I think for sure I would look into doing that lol maybe its just me but that seem like a pretty good deal.

You are correct, No Haunted Mansion or Pirates. They are building It's a small world right now. It is definite something that needs to grow.

yeah hopefully it will do that...in a few years time. lol though I would still buy season ticket to go there since its so close by once I move...lol probably will do that with boy Tokyo and Hong Kong when I move...it'll be amazing to live so close to those parks.

I agree. I would be there all the time. Hong Kong itself is pretty nice too if you are a city person.

Well to me it just make total sense lol I mean Japan is not too far from Hong Kong and not to expensive to go and travel to, not to mention if you take look at the TDLR's season ticket prices its like $600-$700 to do a full season of both the parks where as HKDLR is wayy cheaper like you just mentioned lol now if the prices stay the same as they are now when I move to Japan I will just get season tickets when to HKDLR and then just go to TDLR on special events and only pay a day's pass which truly will be far less money in the long run for its step prices.
