My best friend just got to stop there during one of his Naval tours. He was not prepared for the size difference and, therefore, was a bit disappointed. However, all in all, I think he had a good time. He's now been to all the Disney properties except Paris.

Funny that I should find this thread today!
 I am writing from Bangkok and will be flying to Hong Kong in 5 hours. It's all business so don't get too excited for me!  I plan on going to Disneyland HK on Sunday since I have an off day. I am usually not very good at trip reports but I will try to post something with a few images for everyone. I am soooooooooo excited to go to the park although it will not be the same without having my DW and kids along. I do not care how small it is!

I went to Disneyland HK this week and had a very nice time. The park is very small and lacking some additional attractions (rides). Here is the entrance to the park:

Many parts of the park are set up to be similar to the MK. There is a main street, a hub and three other lands (Tomorrow, Fantasy and Adventure). Here is the front of the park which has its own train:

The park was built between two mountain islands so you see them in the background. I saw a brief show that explains the construction and it looks like it was actually built into the bay. It looks like they pushed the bay back instead of cutting into the mountains. It is a very pretty area. Here is a picture from the train platform towards the castle (very tiny):

There was a really cool 3:30 parade (why not 3:00, I have no clue). It was Mickey's water works parade. Basically the floats and cast members squirt water (and lots of it) at people. They have a few dry zones in case you do not want to get wet but everyone was in the wet zones with umbrellas and such. Very, very fun. Would be great for Florida!
Unfortunately I do not have pictures as they tell you to put away your cameras so they won't get wet.Many rides are the same almost exactly (Winnie the Pooh, Mickey's Philharmagic). A few are different significantly. They have a Festival of the Lion King show and it was similar but very different (songs, no tumble monkeys). It was very good.

Adventureland is larger than in the MK (I think). They have a slightly different (again somewhat scary) Jungle Cruise as well as a big Tarzan Tree House like our Swiss family one. Here is a picture of the Jungle Cruise from Tarzan:
