HI Jimbo! good to hear from you, hope you are all keeping well. Phoning home I use a BT chargecard? You dial a number and enter a pin when prompted and then when prompted again dial the UK phone number and area code. The card charges the calls back to your home phone bill (if you are with BT of course) I find this easier than having to search round for a whole host of quarters to call home. I have never used a mobile, but I know you need either triple or quad band to phone home but I have never done this myself.

I was wondering about phone calls from USA. do you have any advice for calling home. I have seen many Sim cards available on the Internet or is it best just to use the pay phone at resort?
