I'm a little scared too. I would LOVE for the Americans to finish #1 and #2 tonight. I am so nervous. I can not believe the event doesn't start until 11:10 pm. I am going to have bags under my eyes by the time the Olympics are over.

I'm just scared that little Chinese girl who is really nine but they are pretending she is 16 or the leader of the team is going to win tonight.
I used to compete in gymnastics, now where near this level of course, but even then I NEVER have seen anyone fall on the floor. I can't believe she did that!

    I know. I was devastated.

When Alicia Sacramone fell off the beam, I thought she was going to run away. She looked so disgusted with herself. I about died when she fell on the floor too. I don't think I have ever seen anyone fall on the floor before. Marta Karolyi was speechless.

Shawn Johnson should rule the all-around. I believe Nastia Luikin qualified too so hopefully it will be a Gold/Silver finish.

Alicia Sacramone qualified for vault finals. I hope she can win some gold after all that nonsense last night, but the Chinese are so good on vault. Did anyone else qualify for individual apparatus finals?

Those girls broke my heart! Alicia Sacramone is dead to me! HAHA...I'm not that bitter.
At least little Shawn Johnson can redeem herself.

We watched swimming as well last night and we were both screaming at the TV. When we were watching gymnastics last night on floor Dave kept asking me if they had ever practiced before. Hopefully they got all the kinks out last night and they can win it!
I am watching men's gymnastics as I type this and my fingernails are bitten down to studs right now I am so nervous for them!!

Handball sounds about as exciting as sabre fencing was.

Gymnastics was so scary last night. I was shocked when Nastia fell on the uneven bars. At first, I thought she might have hurt her back.

I watched the men's swim relay last night too. That was so exciting when the USA edged out France. I was screaming at the TV.

I am looking forward to watching Men's Gymnastics tonight and hopefully, the women's team will have all the kinks worked out for tomorrow night.

Women's gymnastics is my favorite too!!! It starts tonight and I CANNOT contain myself!
I love Swimming and Diving as well...but I'll watch it all. I watched handball for about three hours last night--it's about as exciting as it sounds!

I did watch the opening ceremonies last night. I liked the Ralph Lauren attire, it made the Americans look, well, very American.

Gymnastics (women's) is my absolute fave. I've watched beach volleyball, sabre fencing, rowing, cycling, and men's gymnastics so far. I am most excited to watch swimming and gymnastics. I can't wait!
