Did you see Ghost Adventures tonight? Another okay group on Travel channel, I still prefer to watch Ghost Hunters. But these other guys are interesting to watch.

Don't be nervous, you're going to enjoy it for many years to come. Can't wait to hear about your first trip as a DVC owner and your first "Welcome Home."

Hey Tinkerbelle. I have been meaning to post here and congratulate you on your DVC ownership. That is so awesome.

Em is still in elementary school and all the kids that are there know her and her story- heck half of them have written a "get well" class card once or twice. I bought her some Mederma for her lip and she puts it on religiously (not sure if it makes much of a difference but she feels better about it) and at the end of 6th grade Im going to teach her how to apply cover up (the green kind) and then foundation so she can learn the right way and go into middle school feeling confident. I worry all the time about her and the scar but she takes it in stride and she normally will tell you that it is her "proof" of how brave she really is. I dont want another surgery right now because she is just starting her final growth spurt and to stretch a healing scar could be more damage than her ego- but that is what I was told at least.

Hey,
I'm sorry your PM regarding the DVC would not go through. Please try again, I think I changed my email address and that is why it did not go through.
Thanks
Rick

Im not happy with Em's either but to have a new scar and then have her go through her growth spurt stretching and mangling it again is not ideal either. I would rather the skin stretch and grow and then repair when she is done. They were more concerned about her nose flattening than they were with her scar- We are thinking that we will tackle both at the same time later when she is older. For now I think Ill teach her how to apply a pale lip liner and gloss and some scar coverup for 6th grade. This is the year that I suspect the kids will start noticing things.
If finances dont fix themselves soon, we wont be going in Feb either... its not looking great right now...

Im hoping to go for the first week of Feb- My birthday is the 3rd- How awesome would that be to meet up with the girls! Oh and that is fabulous by the way that she wont need surgery this year- we had the same news with Em. Im so thrilled for her!!!
