HI there!! How are you doing??!?!?! How is Emily making out in school?
Some kids started to "notice" Megan's lip last week and said something to her so she came home upset. I may call the doc and see what they can do. How do you deal with something like this? Has this ever happened to your daughter?

What is the name of the faire...I want to check it out and try to figure out when I can go..I need to work around the kids schedule.

How are things going? I hope things are starting to look up. I still want to come to the renaissance faire in October. It sounds like a lot of fun!

That is true- gas is finally coming down and that will help a lot. I will be fine with this whole cancelled trip- it was a freebie anyhow. I just want to have a light to focus on and our Feb trip is looking dim as well. Maybe we can do May again- that was a lot of fun and its farther away than Feb.
Nobody says anything to Em anymore because they all know what it is and they are all used to it. I dont know what Middle School will bring because she will be mixing with two new towns and that might be a different story. Perhaps why I will have her trained on how to apply coverup and lip gloss by then. Anything to make it a little easier on her. I know her character can handle it but its something that others can be really cruel with. The saddest thing was when she asked if she could work at WDW and be a princess some day and I had to tell her the truth that the princesses do not have scars on their faces and that it would be hard for her to do. That crushed me because you always want your kids to believe that anything is possible!

Megans Clef didnt reach her nose. I guess I should wait till she is done growing as well. I was looking at pics from a few years ago and I perfered it then but I think the Doctor added extra fat in there because it looks "puffy" and when she gets upset it flares out. Megan is only going into 5th grade. I dont think anyone says anything to her but ya never know. She wont tell me even if they were. She doesnt want to make new friends so I think that has alot to do with it.
Disney will ALWAys be there. Things happen for a reason. I always say I may not like the reason for its there for a reason. Im sure when things get better your family will be there. For me its a bit hard too and Im staying offsite. Im stressing about getting it paid for but since Christmas is coming up it will be a gift for them. Also for me I can drive for under $300 RT. I think a big hugh cost for your family will be getting there. Just remember Disney will always be there. I remember 3 years ago I had $2500 piad on a trip. I only had like $300 to go and my DH told me we needed to cancel because something happened in the house that had to be fixed. I think the roof was leaking so I had to cancel and I was sooooo upset and even cried for a week but after I thought about it I thought did I want to go to WDW and live in a hotel room for a week and be dry come home to a flood or just fix the problem
Im sure things will work out for everyone once things get back to "normal" around the world. At least gas is starting to go down!!

Hey!!!! For some reason I just found your message I actually moved the trip to Dec 26 jan 4th. No more Feb...
I wish Megan can get the surgery because Im not too happy with the way it looks but I guess Im not doctor.
Great for your daughter as well. Its still un real to me sometimes that Im not the only parent. Megan always complains about her "lines" under her nose. She had the sand blasting but it didnt work as well as she wanted.
