Loving my new Mickey watch!

Since I would not hesitate to post about a Disney purchase that was not up to par, I want to share a positive report:

Disney Catalog online has some very nice new watch selections. I decided to get the sliver heart-link style (because the Citizen's are not in my budget right now). I got it today and it is very, very nice! Looks great with my jeans and sweater and will look just as nice peeking out from a suit jacket.

Thanks to MickeyMac for giving me the head's up on free shipping last weekend! That sealed the deal for me!

Re: Loving my new Mickey watch!

I have a watch that DH bought me in the early 90's at the CBR. Back then, believe it or not Disney was selling the watches made by Lorus. I wear mine just about everyday, and so far all I ever had to do was change the battery.
It is nice to report positive things!!!! JOANN

Re: Loving my new Mickey watch!

We're headed back to WDW next week and the one thing I said I was going to buy for myself on this trip is a Mickey Mouse watch. Anyone know a good place there to find one, or is it best to shop the catalog online?

I have a Goofy watch made by Lorus. As a matter of fact I have about 5 Disney watches. I just put new batteries in all of them for my trip. But my favorite by far is the Goofy watch, everything is backwards and the hands move backwards. I've been wearing it for about a week now and whenever I look at a normal clock it takes me a min to tell the time.

What about other jewelry?

The earrings I bought for DW came in the other day. I paid for 3-day shipping and I got it in only 2!

I got them from Blue Dolphin Gold and they are beautiful! (http://www.bluedolphingold.com/noname40.html)

Now, I have to keep them safe for two weeks. Two weeks from today we'll be getting rehitched at the Ice Cream Social. WOO HOO!!!

Try Downtown Disney, for sure! They will have much more of a selection. Have fun shopping!

Matt, the earrings for your wife are so cute! Nice job! You two are going to have a great re-hitching!

Cool Matt!!! Last year we looked for some Mickey earings for my wife and daughter. We looked in a jewelry store at MGM. The exact earings you bought were nearly $100. We didn't buy them. I think I'll get these from the place you bought them.

Thanks for the link!!
