What a Month!!!!
It's been quite a month or quite a last few three weeks I should say. We had some really bad news, DH company is moving to Mexico so everyone lost their jobs, and then last week my mother had a stroke. Today seems to finally be getting better though. My mom has been moved from the stroke center to the Rehabilitation floor and she seems to be doing a lot better, although her mind doesn't seem right which is very sad to me. Anyway, I just felt like sharing this. I haven't felt much like talking about it until now, but hopefully things will start to work out. I just hope DH can get a job around here so we don't have to move again and sell our house. I know this isn't Disney related, but I just feel like you all are my friends.
Thanks for listening to me :angel

Goofette, sorry to hear your bad news. I'll be thinking about you, and I hope everything turns out ok. Thanks for sharing, I am sure others have gone through similar situations and will be able to offer some great advice. Things like this make Disney and many other things seem rather insignificant, don't they?

P.S. Your personal message box is full. I'd like to contact you there when you have a chance to go through your current messages. :)

Thank you everyone for those well wishes. It really is nice to be able to come here and read everyones trip reports and read about Disney. It seems to make everything seem better somehow. Gives me something to think about that is good and positive.
I checked my mailbox. It's strange because it says I have 70 messages but I don't see but just a half dozen or so. I hope none of you have sent me messages and I haven't responded back. It says I have no new messages though. I'm gonna check it again though and make sure it's empty. Thanks again everyone. :)

That is one of the reasons I have enjoyed this site so much. People seem to care and support each other. I will be lifting you and your family up to our Lord. I am thankful that you shared with us.

Goofette, I am so sorry to hear that things have been going so rough for you lately. Finances & career dilemmas can be so stressful...just keep yourself calm, hope for the best & it will come. Hang in there & just remember that you two have each other & have (I'm sure) overcome troubles in the past- you can get past this, too.
As for your mom, my grandma (practically my mother) had a stroke a few years back. I felt like I couldn't even breathe when I heard the news. I'm sure you know by now the good news though...if someone survives the initial attack, they have overcome the worst of it & rehabilitation for a stroke is often extremely successful. My grandmother could barely talk & had no use of her left side after her stroke. After 3 months of very light, infrequent therapy, she was 95% back to normal. Her left hand is slightly weak, but this was after a MAJOR stroke. Chances are, your mom will be just fine, so stay positive & thank your higher power for the fact that she made it through. Pixie dust & mucho hugs heading your way, hon. Keep your chin up & know that you have many people in your corner who care. We're here if you need us!! :D
