Since you mention If You Had Wings, I thought I would also share with everyone, a site I found from one of my Disney searches. Its home page honors the would be 30th anniversary of the opening of IYHW, but the site is much more than that. It is a fantastic compilation of WDWs past attractions and a great read on projects that were never completed. A must read for any WDW fan to gain some behind the scenes knowledge. Do check it out and post your comments. :)

Hey PiratesFan, I have been to this site several times and it is great! One of my favorites, in fact there is a link on the site I posted to it and I think some of the info on it came from that one. There is a lot of interesting things here.(Widen Your World):D

Thanks for the links. I found the virtual sceens to be a little difficult to load (could just be me, you know) and very short once they did.

I really enjoyed the IYHW site. It made me remember why this is such a nostalgic Disney memory for me. I had forgotten about those grey/sliver plastic Eastern wings!!! Ahhh, the good ol' days!

Does anyone else remember that when you rode on the People Mover you could see IYHW? That is one thing I used to love about Disney, so many rides would interact with others, even if in just the smallest form.

You are right, the virtual thing takes a while to load and is short but I thought the memory was worth it. The webmaster is still working and I think it is a learning situation for him. I think he is off to a great start.:)
