Have you seen this? Mickey-shaped electrical pole
This is a Mickey head shaped electrical pole that is off I-4 just past the Disney exits, going towords Tampa.
I just though that those who have never seen it might think its cool.

So, have you looked for the hidden mickeys when you are at the parks? We bought the book and looked this past spring. It was really pretty fun. Alot of them are in places you walk right by and never notice. My 7 year old son was really into this and even found a new one in Mickey's Philharmagic!

I've seen it before actually about 4 months ago they had a power line failure on the the tower it self they had to close I-4 for it, it took me a extra hour to get home that night traffic was detoured onto 192 and gridlocked.

the book is called HIDDEN MICKEY'S it is sold at the Virgin Mega store in the west end of DTD and below there is a link to the amazon.com site for this book they list it for $9.56, the price in disney is close to that.

Their are many sites on the net that list Hidden Mickeys. Some might be better than books, since websites can be updated. I like http://www.hiddenmickeys.org/
I tried to make the pictures appear in the post, but I couldnt figure it out. Can anyone help me? Every time I try to post a picture, I just get the hyperlinks to it, but I see other people doing it all the time. Help!

We come from just outside of Tampa in Brandon. We see it every time we go to WDW. My kids have made it a ritual to say hello and goodbye to it. I remember out first trip with our oldest Daughter when she was 3. She saw the pole and said "I'm coming Mickey. I love you". I get a tear in my eye ever time I drive by.

you could take I-4 to the 192 exit and then get off on 192 and go west about 2/10th of a mile and the entrance to wdw will be right there. this way you will go by it for sure. for others who would like to see this you can take world drive away from the attractions the raod dead ends in a town called celebration and you will go right by this electrical tower. when the road dead ends you can make a right turn and get turned around easliy on that road all there is on it is a highschool and a coldisack. |

We frequently visit friends in Clearwater before heading to WDW and that pole is the spot where we get totally excited that we've arrived!!!!
