I splurged on a new digital camera for our upcoming trip to WDW. It replaces our older 35mm camera. I am concerned about the number of high resolution pictures I can take. Does anyone know if I can take the flashcards to photo development shops within WDW to have pictures printed so that I may free up memory? Or am I stuck with buying additional flashcards?

Hello, I also bought a digital camera not to long ago and the problem with having prints made and then erasing the card to reuse is that you loose the original picture files. That's the nice thing about digital, you can store the pictures permanantly on the computer or disk and make new prints whenever you want. I would suggest either getting a cheap laptop or some other device for saving the picture files too, unless you don't care about having the original files. If your camera uses CF (compact flash) cards, you can get some very large cards (1gb) and that should last you a good time.

I usually put my files to cd but also get the pics developed ( walmart is the cheapest in south florida ) at there one hour photo and then erase the card and reuse them I usually take extra cards with with me so I wouldnt worry about it

Yes that's a great idea, have the pictures put on cd at a walmart. I'll have to try that.
