Revenge

Just out of curiosity (No, I'm not going postal or anything), what are your thoughts on revenge...generally speaking. I'm not talking about violent revenge or anything, but just getting back at someone who did something absolutely out of line to delibrately harm you & your family...financially, while you were offering them help & a sincere opportunity at bettering their quality of life.

Do you believe it's better to let go, or are you someone who supports "payback"?

Dawn S, here's my suggestion. I would first watch and take notes. If someone is truly bent on doing evil, they will easily fall on their own weight with little help from you. This is key since trying a find a way to get payback can be very consuming and can often backfire, perpetuating more problems onto you. I would mentally put the person(s) involved on hereby notice, until they decide to act again towards you or someone else. This way you can morally stop an evil-doer without becomming one yourself even if you have to act firmly. This may sound trite, but I think it really works. I am usually too quick to react to things. When I do analyze the situation, it becomes clear that I have so many other concerns and interests that I would not want to have it consume me. I am, however, not going to forgive some actions, and feel responsible to others to prevent it from happening to them. Hope this gives you something to go on. Good luck and don't get sucked in.:)

I dont think it ever works ..but I do believe "what goes around comes around" and it will smack you upside the head when it does .. I kinda believe in Karma .. what you send out returns ..maybe it seems as though people that hurt and mis-use us get away with it ..but I dont believe they do ..I think everyone gets whats coming to them. you may not get to wittness it when it does happen to them ..but I bet really ( and I am basing this on the fact that your a disney person ) you wouldnt want to see anyone hurt no matter what.

Dawn, did something ELSE happen? Boy, you're having a tough time lately, girl. We're still praying on our end.

Personally, although I'd like to take revenge, I don't. I figure there's someone much higher than me who is in control of all that stuff...I just do the best I can, try not to get stepped all over & taken advantage of, and let the rest of it take care of itself. (It can still be fun to mentally take revenge, just don't dwell on it.)

I DID IT! I got my revenge...no harmful revenge (of course), but I did it!

To sum it up, I got railroaded by my cousin-in-law. He stole the business that I built & offered him a part of. He financially destroyed me. Now, he's making the $3000/week that was once part mine & I am floundering. Well, he has also been doing work for a marketing company. He earns about $1500-$2000/week from that & it has awesome benefits (including quick advances, free trips for training, free electronics products & make your own hours...do it in your own time, by deadline). I had tried to get into that with his help, but I couldn't find info on the company & he refused to give it to me. Jerk. He hates to see anyone do well. Wellllll....I found them myself & they are in need of people to work this area. They said they have someone driving up from South FL (my cousin-in-law, but they don't know that), but they can't keep paying him the high mileage. LMAO! Yes! I rock! So, I got that going on, as well as a new market research job working in Universal Studios, but for an outside marketing firm. Just got hired today & I start Friday. This is a Godsend! I have gotten more jobs over the last few weeks, but everyone wants to pay a ridiculous amount, take 2 weeks to even get me ready to start & then another 2+ weeks to pay me! This is the exact opposite of all of that, so I am truly thrilled! I also made my first local friend over the last couple of weeks & she is the greatest person I have ever met. For everyone else having problems, use me as an example....things always fall into place & work themselves out. I've had a rough time lately & finally...things are looking up...JUST in time, I might add! Whew! :D

THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

I truly hope that this is what you are looking for! You deserve some good things to come your way! Your cousin in law is getting whats coming to him and you really didn't have to do anything. Good things come to those who wait but not to those who hesitate.

I know I'm a little late here, but I just wanted to give you the big thumbs up. You had told me a little bit about this situation, so I'm glad to see you were able to have the last laugh. Just remember what the Klingons say about revenge..."It's a dish best served cold."

Dawn

From what I have witnessed in the last two years what comes around goes around and eventually it will bite you in the backside. You can see that happening to him right know. I seen these four people get theirs in no time at all and then sometimes it takes a while just wait around and you will see they always lose in the long run and you will win.
