Crafty, creative people...I need ideas!!
Every year, for my daughter's b-day, I always come up with some little something to "make" for her, along with her usual gifts. One year, I made her a really nice notepad with her name & some pictures & such on it. Another year, I made a Disney scrapbook for her with our most recent vacation pics. This year, I'm totally void on ideas & I only have a few weeks left.
I was going to try to make some type of an autograph book for her, but I can't seem to think of a way to jazz it up a bit & make it something really out of the ordinary. Other than that, I am totally blank on where to even start. If anyone can think of anything at all that could spark an idea, or some specifics on how to persue the idea, I'd be eternally grateful! If it helps, here's some detail on her: she will be 6. She loves Disney, princesses, unicorns, Power Puff Girls, Barbie, Scooby Doo & art. Thanks, in advance folks!!!

You could very easily do a collage for the front of your autograph book - grab all the Disney magazines or stickers, arrange them onto a sheet of paper, glue that sheet of paper to the outside of a blank book, then shellac or contact paper on a covering. I think this would be a fantastic project to do with her.
You could also get some Disney print fabric at Walmart or Joanne's, bind that over the cover, then with a printer, created a boxed title to glue on with her name, date, and "autographs." When you glue on the box, border it with something fun like rick-rack, fuzzy trim, sparkly stuff, or what-not. You can always jazz up a pen to match, too.

You could make the autograph book be alphabetized with a place for a picture and a signature. For example, one spread would have a "D" stamp or written (or printed out on the computer) and on the left hand there could be a place for a picture and on the right a place for the autgraph.

There are a lot of cool internet sites on scrapbooking which might have some good suggestions for the autograph book. Write your daughter a letter. Describe to her how she is at age 6. What she does, the things she does that make you laugh, cry or get angry. Tell her how wonderful and precious she is. Make it a letter that she can read every year and it will make her feel loved every time. She will see how special and unique she is. Frame it with her picture. It will mean more to each of you as years go by!:D

If it is a Disney Autograph book you have in mind. You could have characters sign avery other page and then post her picture with the character next to the autograph. Tell her Aunt Chele says Happy 6th! Looks like she's really getting up there. :angel
