Postponed Trip

Well we were going to be at WL today but this storm is looking like it will hit too close for comfort. I would hate to spend our weekend off cowering from the storm , stuck in a hotel room when I can do that at home for free (LOL). So I called cent.reservations and they were happy to book us for 3 weeks from now, with no penalty for the change. We got an upgrade to the Polly, which we have never been to, because WL was full for the AP rate for that weekend. So I am excited, and sad. Sooo I am hoping the Polly will be as wonderfull as people say. I am just so disapionted about this weekend. Any one who is a Polly vet... please tell me as much as you can about all the great things there so maybe I will forget about WL, I am so disapointed. I am willing to fall in love with a new resort, and 3 weeks just doesnt seem like eneugh time to find out all the small details that will do it

well I for one think the Poly is wonderful .. and after all it will only be the two of you .. well I cant think of a more romantic place then the Poly for a couple. And it is a monorail resort :)
beautiful beaches with tiki torches lit every evening.

I am sorry for your delayed trip, but think you made an excellent decison. This storm is not looking promising as I hoped it would just fade away. At least you are still getting to go. I can't wait to read your trip report and your take on the Poly. I am staying there in January and will value your opinion greatly.

It is starting to settle in my brain. We loved Ohana, so now we will be right there!! Does the Polly have a boat like WL? That was such a pleasent ride to MK. We also like to see wishes from the beach there... another bonus!! The only delux I have been to is WL, but the Polly is/was on my list of "someday" resorts. It just happend sooner then I was expecting. Im still in shock. All my bags are still packed and sitting by the front door, and Im wondering if I can just keep them there and wear the stuff I deemed "unsuitable for WDW" for the next 3 weeks. I may be pushing my luck though.

Unpack them and wear the cothes. Now you will get the fun of packing again. I love to pack for my trips. It helps count the time away. I don't know if they have a boat. See this isn't bad at all. You are going to get to stay in a resort you have always wanted to and tink is right the romance factor is definately there.....

I thought of another good thing... Stitch might be open for AP's!!!! YEP this is starting to feel much better!! Thanks Tinkerbell and Dana! Oh and yes Dana, you are right, I will unpack and start over in a couple of weeks. Who knows, I might have to buy more clothe to wear anyway! ( Ican just hear DH groaning now, lol)

I HATE packing! It's a necessary evil.

I'd leave everything packed. But that's just me. DW says I'm a pain. I wonder why?

I am with MerlinMatt on this one. Once I am packed I stay packed. I don't care if I had to go to work in my nightgown(It would be my last day at work though, I work in a law office).
