Icon14 A wonderful CM experience

I want to share a long distance CM experience.
Yesterday, I called to make ressies for some upcoming trips. After listening to Hurricane info and going through the phone tree, I was connected with a delightful gentleman who helped me make and change some ressies. Our entire conversation was 1 hour and 20 minutes long, as the computers were really slow. The entire time we carried on a conversation like old friends. He was in Tampa and we talked about the past and future hurricanes. He asked how we survived and if we were ready, and I asked the same of him. We talked about our favorite restaurants and resorts. Each ressie I made, (there were 3) he wanted to know the last time I stayed at the resort, and thanks to my DC signature I knew exactly when and where I stayed. We talked about DC, he wasn't familiar with DC but he listened. He kept apologizing for the length of time the computers took. But in all honesty I was enjoying talking to this CM. Every once in a while DH roused from his nap on the sofa to ask who I was talking to, and at the end of the call, DH asked if I knew who I was talking to. My only regret is that I didn't think to get his name. He is someone who I would have no hesitation in sending a letter of commendation in his behalf to his supervisors.

I wonder if they can track the person who made the ressie through my confirmation #?

This was truly a CM experience filled with pixie dust and disney magic.

I love talking to people on the phone!!! It doesn't matter if they are a Disney CM, IBM Tech Support, or whoever it is always fun getting someone who is friendly, and overly helpful. It makes the whole expireince so much more enjoyable.

I believe they CAN track who you spoke to by changes they made and the date. I sent an e-mail to thank the CMs at the reservations center because they have ALL been wonderful. Disney actually called me to thank me for my kind note. They said it would be forwarded on and the CMs would be notified. If you want to contact them it's:
