What do you buy when you visit WDW?

Do you have a collection that you add to each trip? Are there certain characters that look for? Certain t-shirts?

It's my tradition to buy a gold charm for my charm bracelet ~ I've gotten one each trip since I started my bracelet. So far I have tinkerbell, Minnie and Mickey. Last time I bought a sweat shirt and a baseball cap for myself. Dh always buys a new golf shirt. The kids usually pick out one plush character & then a gazillion other things.

If I can stretch it into the budget, I try to get a Mickey watch on each visit. I didn't get one the last time I was there this year; I guess I'm getting a little thrifty in my old age.

We ALWAYS buy a Mickey on a stick!!! That is a must !! LOL :)

Too numerous to list! You name it and I've probably bought it over the years. However, the past few years I've been cutting back on what I purchase. Heaven knows I don't need another t-shirt or sweatshirt. I currently purchase some pins (again, I'm more selective on these). For the pins, I've recently read a suggestion on how to put them on display. It was great and I do plan to do it when I find the time. Suggestion was to get a framed canvass (from Michael's or other craft supply store) and put your pins on it and then you can hang it up. (I plan to paint the canvass so the pins show up more clearly.)

Another thing I collect is crystal (statues). These items are more costly, but this is one of my 'collections'. The Arribas Brothers offer some great Disney themed items. They have a shop located in Germany (EPCOT), at Downtown Disney and I also on Main Street in the MK.

Post cards since they are always better than my photos.

Hats ! ! !

With my hair line they are practical as well as fun to collect, lol. My DW & DD picked up a couple fo display "ropes" from Lids and we have them displayed in the living room, I actually have a couple of collectables. Now I am trying to find one from each of the resorts that we have stayed at, but a couple of the resorts no longer seem to have their own special hat :(.

I'm kind of dull and predictable. Christmas ornaments. I have quite a collection now. Instead of one big tree this year, I'm thinking of small trees in different rooms. Naturally, the family room one would be Disney.

I don't collect anything and don't buy anything specific each trip...oh wait, little DS gets a light thing before the parade every trip. So far we had one that looked like a bumble bee from DL, Mickey Sorcerer, Pooh Bear, and BuZZ lightyear. He'll get another one on our trip in December I'm sure. As for me, I usually get whatever strikes my fancy..this year I want a giant cocoa/coffee mug w/ Tigger on it and we'll pick our yearly ornament from the Christmas Store in MK.

I always buy an art print and some post cards. Then, I buy whatever I see that I really want. DH always buys a t-shirt to wear on the weekends, and the kids buy everything that we will let them buy.

I ALWAYS buy a new pen from each park to add to my collection and that goes for post cards. I also usually try to buy and new shirt from each park and when entering the MK I always go and buy my most loved bag of chocolate covered pretzels. :-)

How about an answer of, "just way too much!"

We always buy pins for our lanyards, baseball caps, at least one sweatshirt, bobble-heads for one of our DSs, coffee mugs, and a Christmas ornament!

PINS, PINS and more PINS!!!! Sharon (DW) was in Florida last month working a medical unit after the hurricanes.... she got to WDW (actually DtD) for 2 hours and spent almost $200 on pins (the charge just came in

). I am not sure if I am looking forward to our December trip, as it will be 6 days there or if I will stand a better chance as I can keep an eye on her

wow, $200.00 dollars on pins!? She must have gotten alot of pins! lol. I wonder what will happen on your 6 day trip *eek* lol. just make sure when your heading down Main Street you keep going straight. ;-) :-)

Sharon is currently on her 8th pin case that holds 2000 pins each (small suit cases...)... She has to have double & tripple of some pins, but she will deny it!!! The fire station on Main st. is a killer, besides that, it is the pin stations that are the killers!!!! I should not complain though...... She collects WDCC pieces also, but has slowed down as she has run out of room to display them... those are the BIG $$$

I also love the Xmas ornaments. Then, my DD and I always seem to go to Japan, I just love their bowls. I think they are just so pretty. I use them everyday for one thing or another.

My hubby and girls collect pins. I collect cookie jars and usually buy a new one each visit but couldn't find anything new this time. The last one I bought was a Mickey Mission Space one. My oldest daughter collects snowglobes.
