Which WDW Restaurant would you...

If you could take one WDW Restaurant and turn it into a national chain which one would it be?

I don't have a clue which one I would pick but which one do you think would typifies the Disney experience away from Disney?

California Grille...Food is great. I think they would have to put all of these restaurants on top of tall buildings for the view.

Le Cellier. DBF and I love a good steak and we usually go out for dinner every other week or so to do just that. It would be great to have LeCellier steak whenenver I want. The only drawback would the LeCellier atWDW wouldn't be as special when we go.

I think Chef Mickey's would be the restaurant that everyone would 'identify' as Disney's restaurant...
They could even do a Chuck E Cheese type thing where Mickey came out a few times a night! LOL!

I was thinking of something similar but with Pizza Planet.

Pizza Planet is so marketable, because you can have the claw machines, etc...

Re: Which WDW Restaurant would you...

Good question, but anyone remember that they had tried a restaurant before and it was located by the Stores? I believe it may have only been a couple but they failed. I remember seeing one as a child but not sure where. Anyone have any ideas?
I wouldn't want a disney-themed restaurant or chain, I think it would take some of the magic away from visiting the parks. Anyone agree?

I agree!!! I don't think it would feel as special when we go to eat, when at WDW. It sounds like a nice idea on paper but.... well you got my input, lol.

Re: Which WDW Restaurant would you...

I go hang out at the Disney Stores just to get a fix in between trips...I'd love a Disney themed restaurant. It would have to be a character meal though, so of course Chef Mickey's popped into my mind right away. But anything with a character theme would be wonderful....
