Just got back from WDW, It was a busy weekend spent meeting with mortgage companies and realtors. But..... we were able to fit in MVMCP.

Some quick observations/opinions.

We were in the gates at 6:20pm! As day guests were being shooed out we breezed in. We were sent to tomorrow land along with all the other early birds. We did pictures first. Short line!!

We went to Stitch, I wasn't impressed. Lots of crying kids who got scared.

Headed to Buzz, breezed right in, line never stopped moving.

next stop Space Mount. easy in, easy out.

We were done in tomorrowland an it was 6:55pm!!!

For a sold out night there didn't seem to be many people. We wandered the park at ease.

Got a front rope standing spot for the early parade by the Country Bears, as we saw it coming! Never have we been so close! It was a nice parade.

We had done it all, including eating, by 10pm!!!

One major bummer was there was no complementary pin when you got your photo. Now to some of you that may not seem like a big deal, But I have those dated pins, dated back 8 years. I have a Santa hat that sports them all. I asked the CM at the phot spot and was told they were giving post cards instead. OK, I can deal with a post card. Then I saw the postcard, they were postcard promotions for the new DVD. The photo was the characters from Twice upon A Christmas. Not dated, not themed for the party. I did complain, CM said they were cutting costs, I told him thsy should have cut the ticket price also.

Cookies were different also, gone were those hard sugar cookies just begging to be dipped in watered down hot cocoa, in there place was snickerdoodles, a soft cinnamony cookie. Despite the cold night, we only hit the cocoa and cookies once.

All in all, it was a good night. But, it sure seems we keep getting less while the prices go up.

Good to hear you had a good night..... Your right about the prices, seems like you get a lot less for a heaftier price.

I guess I don't have so much a problem with this. It still sounds like you had fun. Was that coacoa really that watery? That would stink.

I'm so looking forward to this. A week and a half and we'll be at MVMCP!

I don't remember the hot cocoa being all that great last time...or the cookies. But that didn't bother us. That wasn't really why we were there. The parade was fantastic, the carollers (sp) sang beautifully (my 3 year old DD was mesmerized), the snow on main street was enchanting...the overall experience was wonderful! We can't wait until next week! :-)

A friend of mine was there last night and she called me at 9 pm Florida time, and said that the parade had been delayed about a half hour already due to some kind of technical difficulties. But, it did start when I was on the phone with her, so it did happen...

She said that they were having fun.

We made it on 12/2 and although it was not sold out the streets were packed, but rides were easy on/off. We saw the second parade and sat outside country bears, this was the end of the parade route. Unfortunately that put us out since we waited 30-45 min for it. Lost time at Disney - it was dissappointing. I still say all in all - with the cool temps to give the spirit of the season - a success. As stated, Stich was a let down. After seeing all the remnants of the previous occupant (Alien Encounter), I thought they should have done a little more than use the outdated technology. But we still had a great time.
