I haven't seen any counters even close to mine recently, and no posts on "Who's going..."

If I am able to go, will I be the only DCer January 2-8?

I'm going to stay really far away from the park when you're there.

Seriously, though - I'm not going until the end of Feb. We are selling our house and moving into a new one of Feb 1st...after that I have to wait for my hubby's schedule to allow us to go!

So sometime in Feb! Who knows when!

i went to wdw last year the 4th-7th of jan.......if i could go then again...i would....it was the BEST time to go...great weather...low crowds....it was absolutly perfect

Yeah, Tragic! The two of will have WDW to ourselves! And I think Erin posted that she's leaving Florida for the. So the state should smell a little better.

Our planned schedule is:
Mon-MGM
Tue-EPCOT
Wed-MK
Thur-rest day
Fri-MK
Sat-AK

A lot of that will depend on if/when we can get the new tickets. Otherwise, we'll just be doing 4 days at the parks.

And the tentative line in my signature is if we can afford it. My mom was paying for the original family gathering trip. DW and I are wondering if we should run up the credit card (which we always keep paid down). In any case this will be our last WDW trip for some years to come.

our schedule is just go with the flow. the night before, we talk about what park we want to go to, and then we decide what shows and rides we want to check out, and last but not least, where to have dinner. the only things that are scheduled is on jan. 5, we're having breakfast with the princesses in Norway and at night having dinner at 1900 with Cinderella and the gang. that's the plan so far. other than that, our vacation is pretty much free to do whatever we want.

January 5 is DS' 4th birthday. We're doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast.

LOL@MJD - You do rest days like I do - a lesser park is resting, right?!?

Not hubby - he needs a real break or he gets kinda grouchy.

I hope you guys going in Jan have a TON of FUN!! It's not crowded, the weather is great! It's a great way to actually not feel let down after the Christmas rush! YOu just get to look forward to DISNEY! YAY!

here here! we went january of 03 and loved it! so i'm really looking forward to going in january again to go on rides that i still haven't gone on yet and see shows i still haven't seen.

well, though it's new, stitch's great escape is a high priority. we still haven't visited a water park yet. haven't gone on dumbo, the many adventures of winnie the pooh, peter pan's flight, come to mind as well. i can't think of others at this moment. i am looking forward to going on those rides and other rides that we already experienced. of course, i'm looking forward to meeting some characters i still haven't met yet, like mulan for example. i have the character's whereabouts list printed out so i'm taking that with me to find and meet them.

I've never met Mulan, either! I bet she's beautiful.

Peter Pan's ride is great! Very "disney-like" - definitely and old school ride.

I hope you get to do it all!! It's cold today, but I see you are from NJ, and it might not seem cold to you - so a water park might be ok!
