Driving tips?
Hello All!
Sunday we are driving from MI to Clearwater, then on to Orlando on the 30th. We are driving with our DS (1 year old) and DD (5 year old). My DILs are caravaning with us. What are some tips to make the driving a "magical" and happy time for the kids? We have a van with a VCR. But I worry about my boy - he won't understand the big "prize" at the end! Any tips you have would be appreciated! |

Re: Driving tips?
Just take frequent stops. I find that is the best way to survive the trip. Every couple of hours just stop, and get out and walk around.

Re: Driving tips?
We always pack some new toys or toys that have been put up for weeks so they seem like new. Lots of snacks as well. Craft type things seem to work best (crayons, markers, stamps, stickers, etc.)
On our most recent trip a dry erase board and markers was the biggest hit.
