OMG, I can't believe it. We decided today to go to WDW from Jan. 22-30th. I got a great rate of $79 at POR and airfare from Philly for only $98 per person round trip. We will be celebrating youngest DD's 6th birthday while there. I am so excited I can hardly stand it . Now I only have 2 problems. DD desperately wants to do the CRT breakfst for her b-day and of course they are booked for the whole week we are there. And I need to find shorts in January for her to wear since she outgrew her ones from last summer. I am going to keep calling for CRT though and we hope it will be warm enough to go swimming.

You go Karliebug---- I am excited for you. You'll find shorts in Florida or online!!!! and dont worry about the CRT breakfast, once you check into your hotel (I love the POR), they will find a "spot" there for you. I am sure!

Don't worry about finding shorts. Just go to the Walmart Supercenter there in Kissimmee, or to DTD. Once you are there you will forget about all the other things. Just go and have fun!!!

Geez, I never mastered that countdown thingie. I am TI (technologically impaired) . We were planning on going in August, but I just couldn't resist that airfare price and hotel discount! I have booked the hoop-de-doo, but am going nuts otherwise befause I usually plan months in advance and am not used to all this rushing around! It is exciting!

I am not that great with the electronic stuff to. Just need to wait for caver_jeff to wake up, he nows this stuff. I am so excited for you, have a great time!!!!!

Contrats Karliebug. We just decided last week to go again this May....we were planning on May 2006. In almost the same boat, need more time to plan, but you really have your hands full. What a great B-day present for the little one! Don't worry about CRT, I am sure you will get in. Fingers crossed, double and triple.

karliebug, I am so jealous. Our airfare was your fare plus one hundred dollars, and unfortunatly our Winter Break is during Peak Season so rooms were nowhere near that price. AAAHHH oh well!! We will still be getting an awesome deal on the food.

About CRT, they recently expanded their breakfast times so ask about that.

Karliebug, don't sweat the small stuff. You know your Disney, and even if you didn't January is a great time to go without a game plan.

How awesome for you! I guess you won't be needing that postcard...lol Honestly, shorts aren't necessary. Last year, my DD and I only had one day where we could wear shorts and that only lasted a few hours. By the time the sun goes down, you will be a bit chilly. Jeans, cotton pants etc and a T-shirt are perfect. You will need a sweatshirt or light jacket in the mornings and evenings. We will be there the same exact week. You are able to get a 15 day forcast prety soon and that will give you a better idea of what you will need for packing, but I honeslty believe that shorts aren't going to be necessary. If you really think you want to bring them, go to Dicks or a sporting goods store. They sell shorts all year.
