Yes, I'm posting them AGAIN..lol I am so excited about this trip that I wanted to post my final plans. Please give me your thoughts on all of them.

1/21:
Pick-up from Towncar for airport at 4:00am
Flight for 6:15am (if US airways doesn't have their heads up their ###)
Land in Orlando at 8:36am
Meet Quicksilver driver, grab luggage and head to the AKL
Meet DBF and his DS at the AKL for 10:30ish.
Get room and let DBF sleep off that 16 hour drive after grabbing lunch at the Mara.
Me and the kids are going to MGM
Dinner at Boma after waking up the sleepy head at 6:30pm
Relax in the pool and hang at the resort and get settled for the rest of the night.

1/22:
Breakfast in the room with food from the Mara
All heading to Blizzard Beach. The kids and DBF will freeze as I sit back at take pictures....I don't "do" water parks for twisted psycho reasons..lol
Have lunch at either BB or Mara depending on the weather and how much fun they are having.
Take a break at the resort, change clothes and head to Epcot
Having dinner at the Rose and Crown for Illuminations at 7:20pm
pin trading and fun at the countries before maybe...
back to resort for fun in the pool and lounges for the me and DBf

1/23:
Up early with the kids. We are having breakfast at Breakfastsaurus at 8:20am. Not sure if DBF is going to go or rest up for his big drive home.
Spend the day exploring AK
Lunch at counter service if we hang that long
Rest and fun at the resort mid-day
Grab DBf and head to either DTD or the Boardwalk for dinner and fun or late night fun at MGM for extra hours leaving it up to the kids and DBF.
Back to resort to pack him up

1/24:
DBF and son leaving early.
Check out of AKL and check-in at the Polynesian for me and DD
Brunch at Chef Mickey's at 11
Depending on when the room is done, we are either going to go to MK or back to the room at the Polynesian after Chef Mickeys.
Head to MK around 3ish to explore.
Dinner at the Crystal Palace at 5pm (new add on)
Watch Spectro and Wishes after dinner
Back to resort after MK to explore

1/25:
8:05 PS for the Crystal Palace (DD's Favorite character meal)
Hang at MK until we need a break grabbing lunch either here or at the Polynesian.
No evening plans....letting things come as they do.

1/26:
Brakfast at Kona or something (no plans)
Epcot day...epcot till we drop!
Dinner at O'hanna's for 5pm
No specific night plans....go with the flow here too.

1/27:
Breakfast at O'hanna
Check out of resort and hold bags.
Spend our final day at MGM
Meet driver at 2pm for airport
Flight for 4:40pm


Well these are my plans in stone....sorta. I tried to make it fun and flexible. I really want to do the extra hours at MGM, but may get out voted. I'll have to see what everyone else wants to do. So any thoughts on these?

Two cents. We never hit the parks on the last day unless were going to eat. Why torture yourself right before you leave. We have been driving so the last day is a 5am wake up call from yours truly, dad!

It our tradition to ride RnR first and last on each trip. We always hit MGM on our last day to get that final ride in..lol Yes, it's torture, but if you have to leave WDW, what an exit that ride makes.

i think the plans sound great Dana, you will have a fabulous time. A couple things though...first of all, I noticed that your boyfriend and his son won't be going to magic kingdom?? Have they been before and have no interest? I just feel like that is the quintessential park, and to miss it is just sad...I know they have limited time, but still. (You can tell me to mind my own business too-maybe they have no desire to go there). Also, for your last night with your boyfriend before they drive home I recommend dinner at the boardwalk at Flying fish cafe. It is such amazing food, not too stuffy...sorta romantic, but it is def. kid friendly....and a really cool atmosphere in the restaurant. Great seafood (get the potato wrapped snapper), but they have steak and chicken/pasta too. Other than that, it sounds fab! have fun!

I'm afraid it's true, they have no interest in the MK...breaks my heart, but I won't push it on them. I let them pick which parks they wanted to do and MGM, BB, Epcot and AK was their picks...shame really. Thanks for the advice on the Flying Fish. My DBF loves seafood and this sounds perfect. Of course what time the Eagles are playing will have a lot to do with what time and where we have our meal, but this will definately be put on the table as a choice. Thanks!

PS: I would never tell you to mind your own business. I appreciate everyone's input and respect their opinions. Thanks for offering both to me.

I was going to question the no MK for DBF but you already answered that.

And if watching the football game is a priority then I would suggest ESPN Club at the Boardwalk. Plus the kids can play in the arcade if they like doing that.

We always schedule our flight for early evening (6ish) so we can spend the last day in the park!!

It was deliberately made "laid back" for the sake of my DBF and his son. I wanted them to have some options. I didn't want them to think I was dictating the trip entirely...just making a few meals plans. With switching resorts, there will be alot of "ifs" with how long it will take to get settled etc, so I didn't want to plan that day either. The rest of the days are just a meal and a park picked, but flexible enough for us to change if we want to. I just don't enjoy commando park touring...not for me. I want my DD to be able to guide the trip as well. The both of us really like spending time at our resort and hanging out. I wouldn't spend all the money for the deluxes otherwise. I am really looking forward to an actual vacation not coming home and needing a vacation from my vacation. The more times we visit WDW, the more laid back about it we become. Our goals are to hit our "must see's", and new attractions and things we missed last trip and want to do this one. That's it. We don't run from atttraction to attraction...we like enjoying the themed shops and my DD likes to pin trade. It's very easy going. We are determined to spend more time in the World Showcase this trip. I want to explore the countries a bit more. Oh and ERin, no offense taken at all. I like to plan the ins and outs of the trip, but am really very flexible with the actual trip. I just like having at least one sit-down meal a day planned and know what park I intend to go to...the rest is cake!

It all looks great Dana, but two meals at CP. Man I wouldn't be able to stand that. I would have to go and try a different one of Disney's fine dining establishments.

CP is my DD's favorite and that's what it's all about in the end. It's two different meals (breakfast and dinner) so it's technically a different meal in the same surroundings. We have double O'hanna's too. Breakfast and dinner just like CP.

How can you not have a good time right? My Dd's favorite is Pooh. I really want her to have fun with the characters...who knows what the next trip will bring? She may not be into the characters then perish the thought... point is, I let her pick a certain number of meals and I get to pick a certain number of meals...makes it fair for both of us. I just haven't told her that I like CP as much as she does so it's kinda my pick too...shhh don't tell her.,.

I know you DBF doesn't think he'll like MK...but it makes me so sad he won't be seeing the castle!!! Can you sneek him over there for Philharmagic and Wishes on the 23rd?? (just an hour or two???)

Everything sounds great!!!! But you forgot to say when you were picking me up!!!
