people watchin

How many people just love to find a bench and sit down with there Mickey Bar and watch all the people walk by? Me and my mom aren't big rollercoaster people so while everyone else goes on them we sit and watche all the people walk by with the guide maps in there hands and the big bulky backpacks. We love to watch the first timers and think about how much fun it was our first time!!!!!!!

Re: people watchin

It is truely my most favorite thing to do at the parks. There have been MANY past trips (before kids) where my DH and I would realize that we barely rode any attractions at all!

Re: people watchin

The first few times we went, I don't think you could have made us sit and people watch. But, now that we don't feel so rushed to see and do everything we really enjoy sitting and watching. I love to watch the children, especially when the parents are all about helping them to enjoy the magic. There is never a lack of interesting people to observe and enjoy!!

Never had time. Always grabed a small bite while on my way to the next attraction.

Oh, I don't do it too much at WDW, but I LOVE to do it other places. Airports are my favorite because you get those oh-so-funny business people. LOL... They are so funny to watch running down the concourse with their cell phone and their PDA's in hand, and then they are screaming about how they are going to miss their flight.

Same here DTD is a great place to people watch. DH and I sat and watch people walk by for quite awhile.

Re: people watchin

I think the mall is the best place. Find a spot on the uper level and perch.

Last time I was at the Bells Factory Outlet Mall in Orlando (just B4 I moved) ther was a great spot we perched at. there is an ATM just under a flight of stairs and if you are in this spot you can watch people as the use the ATM. the best part is if you were really dishonest. You can see them enter their PIN. Just though it was odd and whoever placed the ATM there probbly had NO IDEA of this view.

Then theres always perching an watching to girls of the mall (sounds like a "mature" movie LOL)

Re: people watchin

I like to people watch at the MK. I love seeing the very little kids that are on their first trips or really excited about being there. It takes me back to my DD's first trip and that always makes me misty and smile a bit. I love wactching the kids get all excited when they see their favorite characters....it's awesome!

Re: people watchin

I think the best place to people-watch is in Epcot as you are going around the World Showcase.

Re: people watchin

I love to do that as well..only this trip it didn't turn out so well. We all got our Mickey bars and sat down in a nice shaded area next in Frontierland. One Mickey ear down the hatch and a nice white bird POOPED right on my knee! DH had to leave the area b/c he was choking on his Mickey bar laughing so hard..the kids thought it was hillarious and called me poopygirl the rest of the day.

So, yeah I like to people watch but I think I'll do it AWAY from the shade trees from now on.

you have time to people watch?

Ever since I have been reading other people's trip reports, I have realized that I seriously need to take a breath and enjoy. LOL!

I am on "go" from the moment I get there...

Re: people watchin

The only people I have time to watch at WDW are the kids (They'd be gone in a heartbeat if we didn't have an eye on 'em.).
