Extinct Attractions web site. This could be awesome!

I found this website today that sells DVD's of extinct Disney attractions. Here is a description from their site:

Our documentary DVD series is what we are famous for.
Each DVD contains rare interviews with the people who made the
rides and attractions that we all miss so much! Legends Like Alice Davis,
Bob Gurr, Thurl Ravenscroft, Jeff Burke, X Atencio, and Rolly Crump,
have interviewed for us, and the list keeps growing!

Scores of various bonus items, rare pictures, sounds, and the best rare film
and video ever assembled to truly re-create the rides experience..

These DVD's are not just a ride through of these attractions,
they are actual history documentaries with full narration
along with the ride throughs, complete from entrance, to exit, in almost all cases.

They have a HUGE list of attractions including most of the one's we all miss the most. (Horizons, Dreamflight, Adventures thru Inner Space, etc.)

I am pretty tempted to try one of these out. There are some preview videos which I plan to download tonight. Looks pretty cool.

Hi mmouse, I looked at that website. I don't know, I have a strange feeling about that one. I can't put my finger on it, it's just a feeling.... I just don't like the way their website looks, maybe?

Have you decided to order? If so, don't forget to let everyone here know what you think of their products.

Darthie has bought stuff from there. ask him about it. He gave me some information about it quite a while ago. It sounded really cool. I might get some stuff from them as soon as I get a teaching job. I just loove some of the memories that are tied to some of the old Disney rides that I remember from a long time ago and it looks like they have actual Disney footage from the rides and videao or films from when the rides were built. Darthtortoise can probably tell you more about it.

Yes, I have bought 9 or so DVDs from him, and his stuff is excellent!!! It took forever and a day (or longer) for them to arrive, but aside from that they are worth the money!
Plus, he donates most of the money he raises to a local charity, I believe.

That's great news. I was really hoping this was legit. I will probably look into buying a couple of these after our trip.

This is another good site if you haven't seen it for Disney nostalgia.

Re: Extinct Attractions web site. This could be awesome!

I am so glad this info was posted. My first trip to disney was in 1990 at the age of 14. I loved 20,000 leagues under the sea and this other ride, which I believe was dream flight. It has been driving me crazy trying to figure out what that ride was. Was, if you had wings turned into dreamflight? From what I remember it seems simliar to the pics on the websites. Since I wasn't able to return to Disney until many years later 2003 as an adult with my own children I had forgotten some of those great rides and things that had changed.
