This is a thread I bring up once in awhile. I love to do the fantasy trips and figured I start a new thread since we have so many great new memebers since I did the last one. Here's your questions and I hope you all play along.
You need to answer the question and please post as much descriptions as you want...the more the better in my mind..lol Money is no object when answering these questions...it's fantasy after all.

1) what time of year would you go?
2) how would you get there?
3) who would come with you?
4) where would you stay and for how long?

Here's mine:

1) what time of year would you go?
I would go two weeks before Christmas.

2) how would you get there?
I would fly down using an airline that takes off exactly when it's suppose to and lands when it's suppose to. I would fly first class and be totally pampered the entire flight.

3) who would come with you?
I would go with my DD. I would have DBF and his DS come for a few days, my parents and sibs for a few days and meet up with llama and her family and some other Dcers.

4) where would you stay and for how long?
I would want to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in one of their suites and stay for 14 days total to have days alone with the people I want to meet up with and some time alone with just me and DD.

5) list three magical dinners
O'hanna, Whispering Canyon and Hoop-de-doo

6) list three magical lunches
LeCellier, ABC Comissionary, and Liberty Tree TAvern

7) list three magical breakfasts
O'hanna's, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace

8) What would you buy that you normally wouldn't
I would buy the pictures of the villians that I love and can't afford and tons of snow globes that I buy anyway...just lots more than normal. I would also buy DD all the pins she wanted and definately get myself a slamming mickey watch and tons of clothes and jewelry.

9) events that you would celebrate or special things you'd do
Wishes/ Illuminations cruise catered, Behind the scenes tour at the MK, total SPA treatment less the foot thing...eww

10) last but not least, attractions/shows that you must do in each park?
MK - Phillarmagic, Pooh, Splash Mountain, Peter Pan, JC, and Pirates, Wishes and Spectro.
MGM - TOT, RnR, Mermaid, TGMR, backlot tour, day parade and Fantasmic!
Epcot - all of the countries nice and slow so I can see each and every shop and food
Animal Kingdom - Everything and this would be the day DBF would be there. I have such nice memories from our day there.

Ohh this is fun Dana!

1) what time of year would you go? Right around Halloween

2) how would you get there? I would fly and DBF would drive (he drives me crazy on planes)...South Carolina isn't far but flying is so much easier...

3) who would come with you? DBF for the whole time.......I think that would be it...it's "our" place......

4) where would you stay and for how long? I would stay for 14 days...at the Polynesian....Ive never stayed there so I dont know which longhouse...I would spend two nights at All-Star Movies.....just cause..its near and dear...

5) list three magical dinners...Rose and Crown...Whispering Canyon...The Spirit of Aloha...

6) list three magical lunches..Liberty Tree Tavern...50's Prime Time...Earl of Sandwhich

7) list three magical breakfasts..Chef Mickeys...'Ohanas...Donalds Breakfastasarus..

8) What would you buy that you normally wouldn't..snowglobes ( i collect them)...The Hollywood Tower Hotel Robe that they sell in the ToT gift shop (DBF wants it realll bad)...enough pins to fill up DBF and I's lanyards...probaly something expensive from one of those art stores...

9) events that you would celebrate or special things you'd do......Spa treatment...Illuminations Cruise....hot apple cider and sugar cookies on the dock of the Polynesian....

10) last but not least, attractions/shows that you must do in each park? Everything...I'd have 14 days!

Oooh Dana I love threads like this!

1) what time of year would you go? early September--everything is perfect to me around then: crowds, weather, etc.

2) how would you get there? we'd fly first class of course! And fly to Portland first, so we could meet up with my family & best friend there for the rest of the flight.

3) who would come with you? my DH, best friend, little sis & parents (for part of the trip; the other part would just be me and DH)

4) where would you stay and for how long? while my parents were there, we'd stay in Fort Wilderness cabins; after family left, DH and I would probably move to the Grand Floridian or something else ridiculously expensive (ooh, maybe the YC or BC!)

5) list three magical dinners: Hoop-De-Doo, 'Ohana, Liberty Tree Tavern

6) list three magical lunches: Kona Cafe, Cosmic Ray's, Whispering Canyon

7) list three magical breakfasts: Chef Mickey's, CRT, Crystal Palace

8) What would you buy that you normally wouldn't: *tons* of clothes! I would redo my entire wardrobe in nothing but Disney. I'd also buy collectible items for the home, like more snowglobes and ridiculously expensive Disney art

9) events that you would celebrate or special things you'd do: since it would be September, we'd celebrate my birthday (9/18) and DH's (10/3) and since there's going to be a baby in the picture, well...probably the baby's too! And I'd want to take an Illuminations cruise with the whole group

10) last but not least, attractions/shows that you must do in each park?:
Um...everything?
But this time I wouldn't want to miss Lion King @ AK, Mickey's Philharmagic @ MK, I'd spend more time in the WS @ Epcot, and of course I can't LIVE without ToT, RnRC & Fantasmic at MGM!

This is a fun thread to respond to, Dana!

My trip would be two weeks in the middle of May (EC Garden Festival!)

We would fly there (a smooth-as-glass flight that arrives mid-morning!)

I would take husband and kids (theya re part of my enjoyment!)

We would have a BWV 2-bedroom villa (overlooking the lake!)

Dinners: Brown Derby, Fulton's Crab House, Ohana

Lunches: Biergarten, Rose & Crown, 50s Prime Time

Breakfasts: Cape May Cafe, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace

I would buy TONS of original art (lots of animation cells and posters) and a really expensive MM watch from that shop on Hollywood Blvd. and about a billion pins.

I would spend my time at the Flower & Garden Festival and allthe shows they have a tnight!

Last but not least, I would make sure I experienced all the stuff I have never done: Fantasmic!, Mickey's Philharmagic, karaoke at the Swan, dueling pianos at BW, that doggone China movie, that doggone Canada movie, that doggone France movie!

1) what time of year would you go? ~ Christmas time.. but of course in my fantasy trip, it would not be the least bit crowded. :whistle:

2) how would you get there? ~ I would drive with my parents. My crazy dad always makes the time pass quickly.

3) who would come with you? ~ My friends for the first part of the trip, then my family.

4) where would you stay and for how long? ~ I would stay at Coronado Springs with my friends, since I haven't been there in a while. And the time with my parents would be split between Wilderness Lodge and the Grand Floridian - both places we really want to stay but could never afford. And we would stay for as long as we wanted, until we missed home too much! (if that day ever came..)

5) list three magical dinners ~ Liberty Tree Tavern (always wanted to try that..), 50's Prime Time, Le Cellier

6) list three magical lunches ~ Biergarten, Crystal Palace, Pecos Bill's (yes, I know money's no option... but I am addicted to that counter service cheese!)

7) list three magical breakfasts ~ CRT, Princess breakfast, and Chef Mickeys (still a little kid at heart!)

8) What would you buy that you normally wouldn't ~ I'm with you dznygrl - CLOTHES!! Also the pictures frames with the characters on them, because they're just so cute but so expensive.

9) events that you would celebrate or special things you'd do ~ Walk through the Osbourne lights, party with my friends , go to GF tea with my mom, etc etc etc...

2) how would you get there? ...by the jungle cruise of course!
3) who would come with you? ....anyone who loves the jungle cruise...umm...PJ because she understands my disneyitis and stands me...hehehe
4) where would you stay and for how long? ...I can sleep on the jungle cruise...or in that temple since it is dark and quiet in there...and I would stay till they kicked me out...or arrested me.
5) list three magical dinners...eating bananas with the jungle cruise monkeys, eating more bananas, and more.

2) how would you get there? In our private plane flown by John Travolta

3) who would come with you? John Travolta cause we need his face to get the best room, food. Perks on the whole. My friends from Germany, my brother from Belgium, Dana and of course my 3 guys

4) where would you stay and for how long? The Grand Floridian

a)Victoria and Alberts so I can show off my newest dress from Valentino and of course so that my husband can wear his tux from Valentino as well. Both made by the master himself with several fittings in his Rome Atelier.
b) Sharing a Turkey Leg while watching Wishes with my 3 guys
c) Room service at the Grand Floridian......my butler knows the details of that.

6) list three magical lunches
a) Crystal Palace with all the all the Characters at our table eating it with us
b) I, with my friend from Germany, would like to have Tea at the Grand Floridian and we'd laugh like we always do when we sit together and just enjoy the civility
c) sharing a "kitchen sink" with my guys @ Beaches and Cream

7) list three magical breakfasts : Donald Duck very humbly delivers our breakfasts in bed all 3 mornings. Nice to see him behave nicely for a change.


8) What would you buy that you normally wouldn't
I would buy myself a pair of Mickey earrings. Not out of silver and crystals but
made of diamonds 1 carat for the head and 1/2 carat for each ear. Nice size.
9) events that you would celebrate or special things you'd do
I am celebrating my great life and even though I don't live at home, I chose a great country to spend the rest of my life in.
I am celebrating my good fortune and my great family!

10) last but not least, attractions/shows that you must do in each park?
MK: SM, PP, WP, Tom Sawyer Island, POC, Tiki, Buzz, HM, Philharmagic, Jungle Cruise
AK: Safari, Maharaja Trail, Dinosaur, Kali River R., walking the trails, Tree of Life
MGM: RnRc, movie ride, Tot
Epcot: Beer in every country, Food in every country.

Phew, I am finally done. It was a great trip. Thanks for suggesting it Dana.

2) how would you get there? Continental airlines, first class out of EWR, oh and town car to/from EWR airport!

4) where would you stay and for how long? hmmm.. Beach Club Resort in the spring time!! and 2 weeks would be nice... ohh and in December maybe the Contemporary (never stayed there)

MGM- Ariel, RnR, TOT, Beauty, backlot tour, parade and Fantasmic!
AK- It's tough to be a bug, Dinosaur!, K falls, Kilimanjaro safari, Lion King, Pocahontas, and the parade!
Epcot- Test trak!, and have enough time to walk around World Showcase and see every country and taste all the food from each country! and of course the parade!
TL- all the slides, tube rides, and the wave pool w/DD
