Scared my Mom

Hey,

Everyone. My last Disney Vacation was (3 years ago) too long. I took my mom and she stayed in a seperate room while me my wife and daughter stayed in the other. It was the Caribbean Beach. I loved it. Well while my mother went to get us some coffe with those great refillable mugs I went in her room and put a fake spider on her bed. This thing was huge, but looked so real. When my mom went back in the room she screamed and tried to jump over the bed. My mom was 60 at the time. It was hysterical. Thank God my mom has a good sense of humor.

It's amazing how Disney brings out the kid in all of us. I will never forget that vacation and that very un-Disney like moment.

Spider anyone.

:laugh

:D Yes, Disney does bring out the kid in all of us! I love seeing the characters, and where else can you wear funny hats, have your hair painted pink with "pixie dust" in it and ride in a flying elephant? Even as a parent, it is the one place to go and leave your troubles behind and get down on level with your kids and it's okay because most everybody around you is doing the same thing. Mickey mouse shaped waffles for breakfast, giant candy covered cupcakes for a birthday lunch, and Cinderalla's Castle all lighted up at night...no place but WDW. :)

Definately lets us all act like children. I regress as soon I go through the turnstile and show my park pass. I actually have been known to skip at random and sport a really cool Fantasia Mickey Hat. My daughter and I have late night pizza parties and run wild around our hotel. We go get midnight snacks in PJ's and slippers. (shorts, top, and fuzzy slippers not nighties ) I am more intersted in how many characters' autographs I can get than my 8 year old. God I love to feel 10 again. I have said it once and I'll never stop saying it WDW is magic.
