photopass

can someone tell me everything there is to know about the photopass? i didn't know about it until maybe our second to last day during our last trip. my nieces went last month and i just saw there pictures on the photopass. the quality is incredible and i would like to do the same. do you have to pay for this card? do you get multiple cards when you pose with different characters and at different parks or can you use just one card and all of hte pictures will be put on that one card? thanks for all of your help and information guys. really appreciate it.

Re: photopass

You can get one and continue to use it throughout your trip. We ended up getting a few because we kept forgetting that we already had one. It doesn't cost anything to get one, only if you decide to order the pictures. Hope that helps!

Re: photopass

What happens if you loose the pass. Do they still keep all of the pictures until the end of the day? I would hate to loose a picture because I could not keep up with a card. We three small kids I am lucky to find my shoes some days.

Re: photopass

The pictures are linked to a card similar to a credit card. Anytime a CM photographs you, they swipe your card, and it adds the pic. You can view the pics at WDW, but better yet, you can take the cards home and look the pics up on the internet.

We got a fantastic pic of DD in a Snow White dress with Snow White. We were able to customize it by adding SW's autograph to the picture. We ordered three professional-quality 5x7 for around $12-$15.

One word of caution, as soon as you get your card, write down the number. That way if your card is lost, you can still access the website. In our case, we brought home 3 cards (because we kept leaving the other cards in our room). The card with most of our pictures on it was smeared and we couldn't read the numbers any more. So we never got to see how those pics turned out. (Fortunately, DD's princess pick was on our last card.)

Re: photopass

Wow...this sounds cool. So you can take the card home with you after vacation and the pics are still on your account? For how long?

Re: photopass

The plan is great. We took the card home. Its amazing, when I got home I couldn't believe the amount of pictures we had. After a while you just start handing the card to people.

I did see one family have a card for each child. I don't think they really care to much about how many cards they hand out. More cards, more pictures. I keep my card right with my camera.

Re: photopass

I love the photo pass. Many times you leave wdw and wish you had gotten a photo and now you can. Plus you can take the time at home to go through all of the photos and order what you like the best. Instead of having people mulling all around you while you are trying to look at your photos at wdw.

Re: photopass

I have this photo pass listed on my reservation. Does this mean I get a picture included that I don't have to pay for?

Caver,

I read online that if you lose your card (or as in your case, can't read the number!) Disney will try to find the number for you. Go to any Photo pick up place or online at www.DisneyPhotoPass.com/lostpass . Pretty cool!

Re: photopass

When you have a photo taken by a WDW photographer, they will give you a card if you don't already have one. If you have one, hand it to them before the picture.
