some good news!

I promise not to go into a lot of details .. but there is a chance we will get to go back to WDW sooner then 2007 !!!! Because ... I know the Assit. D.O.N. at the nursing home where I used to work as AC .. and because I know she likes me and knows I am a hard working caring person ..I have a very very good chance of getting a job there as soon as we finish clinicals (the 17th of this month). Hazel (the assisstant D.O.N.) also worked her way up from CNA ...so I know she will respect that :) I talked to my former assisstant (who now works in payroll at the facility) and she said she couldnt wait to tell Hazel that I am coming in to put in my app. ok I said i wasnt going in to a lot of details .. and I sorta did ..the bottom line is .. that if I start work as early as the end of this month ..then I will have vacation time coming next year!!!!!
can I get a Yeaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!

Yea!!! I am so happy for you! There is nothing better than having a WDW vacation to look forward to. I know planning the perfect trip got me through all my DS's surgeries after he was born.

Thanks DisneyTeacher :) I havent even told the girls yet .. lol they may have to read it here first ..they have plans of going to Oklahoma over spring break this year:) I thought I would have to get through the LVN course and worked a year, but being able to start off at a place that use to be my second home any way, gives me vacation time in a year. chance are good that we will have to limit our selves to less time ..but less time is better then no time at WDW :)

I did love it there .. being an AC was very high stress because I couldnt do the things I saw negilected by the CNA's .. but going back as a CNA (and hopefully an LVN ) I can do more!!!!!!!!!

Thanks ya'll ..the only way I wont get a job at Merritte Plaza would be if they simply are not hiring .. I know them and they know me. Sooooooo I figure at least by may of 2006 I should have vacation time coming .. and I know they have *sick* days ..if I can get away with out every using any of those ..then I will have days I can add on to my vacation days :)
