I have a little more money to play with on my October trip and want to know what you would all do. On one hand I want to stay at POFQ, but another part of me wants that deluxe resort. I would appreciate your input. Thanks all.


Shoot...I wanted to make a poll...oh well here's the choices:

1) stay at POFQ and use the extra money for fun
2) stay at WL it's a deluxe, but not to expensive
3) heck with it and throw caution to the wind....got to the Beach Club

I would stay at POFQ and spulrge on other things as far as eating at a restaurant you had always thought was too much money or buying a souvenir that you have always wanted. I don't think staying at AKL or another deluxe far outweighs POFQ anyways. We had that decision last June and stayed at POR instead of a deluxe and never thought twice about our decision.

Thanks Disney6....that's my thinking on this too. I am just not totally sold yet. I like to try out a new resort each trip and have never stayed at POFQ. It's sounds like a great resort, but there's a voice in my head that is screaming to go back to a deluxe. A part of me is thinking these parks are going to be packed that week and at least I'll have a really nice room to hang in after fighting crowds..lol Thanks for your input.

Just kidding...I would stay at POFQ.....because if I remember correctly you have already stayed at both AKL and WL right?.....and Beach Club is gorgeous--but I can't imagine staying there because....200 plus dollars a night..is a LOT of money...DBF and I were going to try and stay at AKL or WL for our trip in June....and 139 dollars a night...is just a LOT of money...think of the 100 bucks you can spend on a nice meal our souvieners....how much time do you really spend in the hotel anyways?
And if I remember correctly again--wasn't DD really excitied about staying at POFQ?

No problem Dana, my DW and I are putting off a deluxe until we can go w/o the kids which will be a few years since our youngest is only 1 and oldest is 9 but that is what grandparents are for right.

BTW sometimes if you figure out how many hours you would have to work at your job to stay at each hotel can make your decision a lot easier! Wroking 20 hours to stay one night at the Beach Club---dosnt seem worth it to me....but then again im a poor teacher

Have you ever stayed at Wilderness Lodge? (I don't think you have...)

I would splurge a little and stay there - it's great!

I think you should stay at POFQ. Use the money to spend on fun stuff, and that way you won't have to worry. Book Hoop Dee Doo. If I remember correctly, you really wanted to do that last time.

I'm all about getting the most for my money. Just personally, I'd rather come home with more Disney goodies, than sleep in a nicer resort.

I don't know, though! You were thinking PC, right? So POFQ is an upgrade from two weeks ago.

I am the wrong person to ask with these choices. I love WL so my answer will always be to stay there when given the choice. If you can swing it this time due to extra money then go for it, you may not have the extra money on your next trip. POFQ will be there for you next time when you don't have the extra money.

Dana, unless your spending a lot of time at your resort, I'd go moderate and use the extra money for a special treat--like taking me with you on your trip.

Since you've never stayed at POFQ, I say try that one. I looooved POR, and POFQ looked gorgeous from what I saw, so I'm sure you'd have a great time. Plus you'd have some leftover $$$ to have some fun with! :)

I have stayed at WL already and did Hoop-de-doo...twice..lol I wanted to do the Luau, so maybe I'll ty that or something. I have already paid for POFQ and owe a little if there isn't a discount. If there is a discount, I think I am jut about paid off. I think I agree with most of you and will just stay at POFQ. I spend a lot of down time at my resort. I am no park commando for sure. I like to actually relax on my vacation..lol Thanks all for your input as always. I appreciate it. I think I am just going to stay at POFQ. Thanks for helping me keep my head on straight. LAst week I was going to have to go to PC with having that car. Since getting rid of it, I have more money to play with. If I stayed at PC, I would have actually overpaid and have some change coming to me.It must be the overplanner in my coming out..lol Thanks again.

I have 2 answers

1. in fantasy I would pick 1 of the Deluxes (Iam dying to stay at the BC)

2. econonmically.... stay at POFQ and splurge on your trip! You never know what may come up or you can book a dinner show!!!
